  1. I went with Super family.   Space is really important to us.  Also, as great as yacht club sounds, wasn't worth the extra money for us.  I think you have to decide for yourself.  I think if it was just the two adults, I'd opt for YC, maybe.

  2. Originally it was 2 cruises, Carnival Dream and one other ship. Then I mentioned to Tracy what do you think of three cruises and eventually what if I can fit 4 cruises in our schedule?

I was looking at a lot of different combinations with Dream, Freedom, Valor, Liberty, Legend, Imagination, Fascination, Inspiration, Sensation and Destiny.

As you can see they are all Carnival ships with home ports in Florida. Initially, we were going to drive and have a vehicle to get from port to port but then we decide to fly and that narrowed my choices.

In the end it was a matter of price, close proximity of the home ports, ships (I wanted to cruise on different ships) and to a lesser extent, ports visited.

What’s next? I would like to cruise on as many different Carnival ships as possible.

After Carnival Pride I would like to:

-A combination of two or three ships in Florida with Dream, Liberty or Legend

    - Drive through the states of Alabama, Louisiana and Texas and do 3 or 4 B2Bs with Magic, Conquest, Ecstasy, Triumph and Elation.

-Visit the west coast (California) and sail on Paradise and Spender.

    - A quick trip to New York and sail on Carnival Miracle.

    - Visit Puerto Rico and sail on Carnival Spirit.

    - Travel to Britain and visit with Tracy’s family and come back on a Transatlantic. Maybe on Carnival Breeze.

    - Do a Mediterranean cruise on a future Carnival ship. (Breeze, etc.)

    - Go to Hawaii on Carnival Spirit

Not necessarily in that order. :)

    .

thanks for sharing so much. I hope you get to do all of these cruises. You will love them.

  3. Thank you maabell4, if you go on vacation with the right attitude ( Insert Rosie quote here) you can't help but have a wonderful vacation. Mike

Totally agree...It's VACATION...how could you not be happy. I have seen many unhappy people at Disney World, which always irritates me, how could they go to Disney and spend all of that money and not have a good attitude...I think it's the same for any vacation.

  4. Thank you so much for sharing this trip with us. I originally started reading thinking "I can't wait until the end so I can see Freedom," Since that's the ship I will be on shortly. I ended up coming back everyday to see your family and friends and read your commentary. I especially came back for the vow renewal and proposal, which had me in tears. You and Tracy are super super blessed to have each other, 2 great kids and friends and family that love you. It's great to see your devotion to each other and your family. I hope your next cruise is just as enjoyable as these last 4. Thank you, again.

  5. Thank you:):)

It was mentioned a couple of times but hey this review has been going for a while now. In case you do not know, no one knew about the proposal and the renewal of vows. I shocked everyone when I got down on one knee and proposed to her again with a new ring.

That's awesome. Keep the great review going. I am going on Freedom in November and I am chomping at the bit for you guys to get the ship...hahaha.
