It's not actually 10% off - they are placing a credit on your Latitudes account equal to 10% of the value/fare of your original booking (that was cancelled).  Best part, looks like the 10% they are giving us is calculated AFTER the 20% discount they placed on the fare when they first just cancelled the St. P stop.  Ridiculous.

Also, don't be fooled by the "second guest" 70% discount - they are just repeating what the current sales promotion is (i.e. this is not any additional discount, its the same pricing offered to everyone under the current promotion).

we have a option on a new cruise and my husband get's really 70% off the price. But how it's whit the 10%?

With things so unsettled in Europe now, most airlines are allowing people to change their flight for no fee. Did you call your airline to see if you can change or even cancel flights and then rebook? The Aug. 16 Dawn sailing starts in Stockholm and ends in Amsterdam so you only need a one way ticket to ARN. if you do change to this cruise please join our roll call.

I'm looking online if i can change my flight if i need to do this. And wait what NCL gives us as a option.

Transavia is not fling to Stockholm

I can well imagine that the chat operators don't know any more than we do at this point.

Disappointing that they've removed the cruise from the website but haven't briefed customer service on what to say.

I think they will cancel the cruise and hope we will do the Dawn. Maybe Getaway goes to a other part off Europe.

I'd start looking at the Dawn sailings if a Baltic cruise is what you want. Look into changing your flights to different dates in case your current cruise gets cancelled.

None of the Baltic cruises are sold out, many people who had booked them are now cancelling because they no longer go to SPB and they are uneasy about travel to Europe at this time.

i have booked m flight already and can't change it. Our hotel we can cancel that for free. But i already change a month ago our cruise, because off covid from America to Europe. And when we go to do the Dawn we go to city that we can do by car. And we end in our Country.

I'm not wild about the prospect of St Petersburg being replaced wholly or in part with sea days on our 9 day Norweigian Getaway cruise, but was very excited about the cruise, so hope replacement ports are announced.

St Petersburg was the star of the cruise and the itinerary value is quite diminished now. As a result, NCL's discount is most welcome but for the more experienced here, is 20% a good discount from the Line or do you think they'd be open to negotiate a better deal if we called?  We have paid a deposit only to NCL direct. Literally no idea, what goes on, but I've seen a few people saying that discounts, upgrades and deals are possible and wondered what peoples thoughts were.

I put the text of the mail in m messages.

I'm on Aug. 16 Dawn Baltic, my itinerary still has 2 days at sea in place of SPB and no credit. My cruise is Dawn's last Baltic that ends in Stockholm, positions the ship for the fall to sail around Great Britain.

Looks like NCL is switching the ports in a random order, not based on sail dates.

They will do this in 7 workingdays. And read my messages it's from NCL. Maybe you must ask your travelagent if they got a email.

  7. I had contact whit my travelagent and they got last night a email from NCL. We get all 20% back, it's 20% off the cruisefare whitout the taxes. This will be in 30 days, if you paid in full you get it back on your cc and if you still must pay the rest you will see the 20% off.

Also you or your travelagent will get in 7 days the new itinerary. They need the time to get it touch whit the ports if we can come there. And what they think is safe for us. And that's what's important saftey. But give them time.

As a result of this unforeseen circumstance, we will be issuing a discount of 20% off the voyage fare to all guests. No further action is required. If you have paid for your reservation in full, the value of the 20% discount will be refunded and processed within 30 business days to the original form of payment used at the time of reservation. If you have not yet paid for your reservation in full, the discount will be automatically applied to your reservation within 30 business days.

We attempted to cancel and asked for credit on another cruise . They refused and said we could get a 75% refund only .
we have cruises several time with NCL , but NEVER again .

I had booked a other cruise  and we changed our booking to this one. Where so happy we are not going to St Petersburg. But if we had canceld our cruise we also must pay the 25 %. But we booked this cruise and there was no problem at all.

I am Australian and I am really annoyed and peeved at this move by NCL. The only reason I booked on the cruise was St Petersburg. I am not due to cruise until August. Surely NCL can wait and see what pans out in the interim before cancelling. As another poster pointed out, the Ukraine is nowhere St Petersburg. By the way, the whole world is not American. Plenty of other nationalities cruise too! I don't think I'll be booking with NCL again. I vote with my feet!

If NCL is going to St Peterburg we don't go off. The people accept him as a leader. No money off my will go there anymore. Tallin is much nicer then St Petersburg

Enjoy the list @Sailing12Away That's the fun of the Beverage Package. As @jmh3791 stated, if you taste it and don't like it, just try a different drink. 😋

@Con5421 - Shakes are not included in the package. There are many frozen drinks alcoholic and non-alcoholic (The above list has 4 pages of non-alcoholic drinks) that are similar to shakes, Mudslide & BBC in particular.

Thank  You, i don't drink and my husband only soda's. But maybe i can try the non alcholic cocktails.

  11. Which sailing on the Jade?

We just got an upgrade from inside cabin to balcony on the 12 day sailing of the Jade on July 15. That’s 45 days in advance. I didn’t expect it so soon. We bid in the “fair” range - $15 per night extra, which is low for what that balcony would cost. I’m thrilled!

We're sailing on july 26 and are happy whit the upgrade.

  12. they tell you where to leave the bikes at the end. There is a small buiding next to the train with a bike rack, it was pretty easy to find and leave the bikes. The trip down was very fun. The first 1.5 km was very difficult and everyone had to walk their bikes. After that it was a very easy and pleasant ride. I have photos posted in this thread...

I can 't see the picture's. Only the first 3.

  13. Yes, we booked the bikes from Cafe Rallaren (in Myrdal). It is really the only place at the train stop in Myrdal - they have food and bikes. It worked out well. I would reserve ahead of time.

We booked one way train tickets on our own. A couple different websites can get you to tickets.

Many ships may offer the train up bike down option as well.

Thanks, was the trip down to do? And where did you leave the bikes after the trip?
