Looking to do same, anyone else who can share on this? 

So to answer my own question, we docked at 7AM and left at 430PM, so we had a morning to do something else. So with our snorkel gear in tow, we headed north and spent the AM snorkeling. Then came back to the ship to drop everything off and dry off, grab lunch, and went triking in the PM. Worked out great! We took a cab up and the public bus back to the ship. Loved Aruba!

Just booked the trikes for next week. We start at 12:30--any ideas what to do for a few hours before the Trikes? thx

Does anyone know if I can bring my own inflatable boat to use in Princess Cays? For the price they rent them at, I can buy something at WalMart and use it for the day for way less! thx

Any ideas for what to do in Aruba from about 8am-noon, before our Trikes Tour starts?

Thanks for the update joyful. doesnt sound like this is what we are looking for--a spot we can easily get to from the beach (much closer than a 300 yd swim). anyone know of something easier onthe island? what about gib's cay? and what about margaritaville?

This thread hasnt been active for a few years but I'm hoping we can get some answers to some lingering questions:

-how far a swim out is it for snorkeling?

-suggestions on renting vs. bringing our own snorkel gear?

-there doesnt appear to be any charge to snorkel from their beach, I emailed them directly.

-cheaper ways to get to them (other than taxi)?
