  1. We are sailing on the Summit 6/12, yesterday 6/8 we received an email  from Celebrity telling us that we needed this form. This is the first time we heard about this, we applied yesterday and received our approval this morning 6/9 about 9am.

I have never been required to do this on a cruise ship before. I once had my passport “held” on an Italian train traveling overnight from Austria. It was a bit of a mess trying to get it back, but I blamed that on the disorganization of the train crew.

We have been on many cruises and this is a first for us.

We're sailing in 2 weeks (the repositioning cruise). When you can reply could you let us know how well  the crew are enforcing the mask rules in the halls, elevators and showrooms? Also, is Ken Byrne still singing each evening in the dining room? Thanks for the info.

We are on the Pride also they do announce about wearing masks and if you are in any venue they tell you this is a MASK UP venue and if your not they will tell you to mask up.  the casino staff are making announcements every 20 - 30 minutes walking around reminding everyone. There are signs in hallways and in elevators to mask up seems like everyone is doing their part. So far great cruise.

When you board tomorrow you can watch 3 or 4 of the 1pm games simultaneously on the big screens in the Sports Bar.  They also showed the Thursday night game in the Sports Bar and Casino Bar on our 9/12 cruise.  Carnival stepped up and bought an NFL package, but the Saturday games were slim picking.

    Thanks for the info...

For the 9/12 Pride sailing the itinerary said we'd return to port for debarkation at 10am.  On the last night we (platinum) got a special letter saying we'd actually arrive to port before 9am and should meet in Taj Mahal at 9am for self assist or use our "#1" luggage tags.  We only travel with an overhead-bin sized rolling bag and backpack, so we were off the ship at 9:10am or about then.

We are boarding the Pride tomorrow, hope when we get back the same thing happens to us getting in a little earlier.... Kick off is 1pm.....lol

  6. I have a printed copy and email with results I will ask what Carnival wants and accepts, We are boarding the Pride tomorrow in Baltimore. I will let you know asap.

There is no QR code with the results of a antigen  test, it's an email with the date collected, date received, and date reported  and your date of Birth.

  7. Yes the benefits are going away, also the last Celebrity Cruise we were on was December 30, 2019 at the end of the cruise the casino host gave us a rough total of points that we earned and I had a total of over 400,000. still had 6 months to earn more for the new Sapphire Plus tier. Received a few emails offering free cruise with a balcony cabin, I did book one for November.

At the bottom of the email in small print it gives you your tier status and also your Blue Chip Club Points, it says that I only have 11,336. The question is now what happen to my 400,000 points???

  8. We were on the Horizon on 7/10, in a suite we arrived about 10:30. we were taken to the front of the

line for check in. There was a lot of people already there, check in took about 15 minutes and they do ask if you have proof of being vaccinated . Once on board we were able to go to the room.

Next cruise 8/7 , on Horizon looking forward to another great cruise.

I believe they have every intent at this point to start sailing with the July cruises and they are currently finalizing protocols. I think we will hear something this week or early next week at the latest. ( fingers crossed)

I am booked on Horizon July 10.

Booked southwest airfare so i can cancel if needed.

We are booked on the same cruise, we will be driving from Delaware,

I grabbed two of the free balcony ($100 less $100obc each for 7-day) offers with drinks in the casino and casino funny money, one for September and one for October.  I was looking today, thinking about November and December, but all my GREAT offers are gone, only GOOD ones left.  Anybody else have a similar experience?  I'm wondering if it happened because I took advantage in time or some other reason, I don't think they expired but they might have.

We have the same offers, wife received $100.00 offer for balcony or Suite, of course we took the suite, as it turns out you can ONLY use the offer code on 2 cruises, I had offers for a balcony for $100.00 and we booked 2 cruises for that offer code. Hope this info helps some.
