Omg steakhouse on the valor. We went Thanksgiving day. Check out my review, I posted pictures.
https://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=2572594
My cousin had the cowboy steak, we all had other things like lamb chops, lobster tail, lobster ravioli . We could barely finish , stuffed to the gills. We had several desserts at the table, the chocolate sampler was delicious, my sister had fresh berries. I had the crab cake for appetizer and they brought an amuse bouche- a very tiny bite sized burger, I believe it was lamb, since we went the first night, we had choice of free wine or half off, we took free and I was the only wine drinker so I asked them to save the second bottle for me to take and they did. We had two different reservations so they treated as two. But we sat at the same table. Best 35.00 ever! I will try to do the steakhouse at least once every cruise going forward. I will try to book it earlier in the day though, as soon as they open because it was late, on the first day and we were tired.

"A good well done steak" is an oxymoron.
Your opinion only....

Oakman, you probably do not put ketchup on your steak either. I've seen people do it, mostly on well done steaks, yuk.
A good well done steak doesn't need any sauces. I don't like it dried out. I just don't like pink meat. I have had many well done steaks that are very juicy you just have to know how to cook it.

We ate at Scarlett's last week on the Valor. They still have the old menu, and it was fabulous!!! My husband had the bone in and I had the surf and turf. Both were great, but his had a little more flavor. The lobster bisque was EXCELLENT! The crab cake was wonderful. The cheesecake won the dessert course.

This will be our first time going to the Steakhouse on a cruise. We will be on the Valor in two weeks. And I am wondering which steak should I order? I like my steaks well done... (I know people think they aren't as good but I like mine with no pink). We are very excited to try the Steakhouse. Also, I heard about the table art dessert but I don't see it on the menu can info on it?

Thanks... I have always we're it up or pulled back. But my hair is shoulder length now. I always use my own shampoo and conditioner and I have a chi flat iron. I think I am missing the high humidity products.

I need help with what you ladies use on your hair while on a cruise that keeps it calm and smooth. I can straighten it and put moose and hairspray and nothing works. Please help me.... We leave on our cruise in 32days and I need to find something that will work.

Also got upsell email this morning but I took it. Went from inside spa cabin to balcony spa cabin for $138.00 total for 7 day on Splendor
I was hoping when I first saw the email that it was an upgrade to a suite. But we weren't that lucky. We cruise March 5. I am sure we won't get another upgrade email.

Thank you for helping me. But we decided to pass on the offer. We really like a covered balcony. Don't like the thought of people looking down on us and if the weather isn't great we can't go out there.

We already are booked on the 8th deck and then I got this. Can anyone tell me if it is a spa balcony type I know it is on the spa floor but I have never looked at them before. And tell me the pros and cons to accepting this offer
For 18.00 total upgrade to room 1110 spa deck.

Wagyu is beef raised using Kobe Beef techniques and stock. Essentially Kobe Beef raised outside of Hyogo prefecture.
The meat is distinct in appearance as it is heavily marbled. The fat has a lower melting point than other beef. Given the fat content it is very rich. 18oz would likely satisfy two or three people.
I've never eaten Kobe or Wagyu as a steak. I'm not sure it is really suited for steaks.
Okay thank you. Not sure what I will order but, I am sure it's going to be great

What is wagyu steak? Never heard of it I love steak but don't think I could eat the 18oz. And I like my steak with no pink. I know it has no flavor but that's how I like it.

Well, we did go to the Steakhouse on Valor this last week. I got the filet mignon butterflied and it was wonderful. I could cut it with my fork. Best steak ever
