Thanks for the quick answers!

We will be sailing in the Oceanview Suite on Rhapsody (cabin 8000). While I have been told this class of cabin receives Grand Suite status with the suite perks, I cannot find a definitive answer as to whether Voom internet is included as a perk. I know it was when we sailed on Allure, but oasis class ships have their own suite categories, vs. vison class that basically only have junior suite and grand suite levels. Has anyone sailed Rhapsody or another vision class ship that could help?

This is only our second cruise and we sailed NCL last time (about 6 years ago). How important is it to book shows? To my knowledge, we did not have to book anything a head of time when we sailed NCL. If it's just a matter of getting up close seats, I don't think we care about that. Thanks for any input.
You are sailing on a ship that carries 6,000 passengers, so reservations don't just mean close seats. If you don't book ahead, you may not be able to book at all, or at least may be blocked out of the show times that work best for your schedule. You could go to the show without a reservation, but then you will need to wait in line until about 5 minutes prior to showtime for them to release the reserved seats. Then you will end up with poor seats, or not get in at all.

Just so happens...
Would you look at those lines. I’m referring to the docklines of course.
She really is a fantastic guide. :o

Looking at the horizon gives your brain a stable point to view. It can help calm the stomach.

thank you all for your replies
does anyone know why the ship does not do any sailing in feb, march and april?
does anyone know if osais of the seas is going to be upgraded to something similar to harmony of the seas between now and then?
Which ship isn't sailing in Feb March and April?
I'm not sure what you are talking about with Oasis. Oasis of the Seas is the first of the Oasis Class RCI ship series, followed by Allure, Harmony and soon Symphony of the Seas. All of these ships are sister ships, and are mostly identical, with some small differences. In fact, their sizes only differ by a few feet. I've sailed on Allure and Harmony, and will sail Oasis in June. Harmony has a large dry slide and three water slides, Oasis and Allure do not. Allure has a fountain under the Rising Tides bar, Harmony doesn't. The Italian restaurants on Allure and Harmony have different menus. Otherwise, with some other small differences I may have missed, these sister ships have identical deck plans.

The food they sent you looked top notch........for a hospital.

The young lady in the picture is Rachel, if memory serves me. She was our snorkeling guide this past Thanksgiving on our Harmony cruise, and she's fantastic. I doubt she gave you her real number, especially judging from the look she's wearing in the picture. I also believe she is already spoken for, lol!

Cats while in port??!! Rum Tum Tugger will be docked!

It's actually preferable to get off the ship & go on a tour, go shopping or go to a beach rather than go through imaginations, not customs, with the crowd. It really kills the whole morning after breakfast since you'll be doing a lot of waiting for everyone to arrive.
The actual preference would likely be with each individual. Either leave the ship and do an excursion (and you would still go through Immigrations anyway), or quickly go through Immigrations with just the very few B2B people on board and then stay on the ship and enjoy all the amenities with no crowds.

Curious as to why you would ask. Are you planning to contract Noro while on board, specifically on the first leg?

We are doing an RCI back to back next year. I was told you can take 2 bottles each. As an aside, you can also buy wine/liquor on board on the last day of the first week. They don't put it away that day, so you can keep even more for week 2.

We cruised Allure in June and saw Mama Mia. It was fantastic! Was the singing the same quaility you would see on Broadway? No. However, the cast was wonderful and the tunes were so catchy that my teens want to download some Abba now! One of the most entertaining shows we've seen at sea.

On a cruise, I will try anything, period. Tried foe gras (I know I butchered the French) last cruise, and loved it, even though I "thought" (big mistake for me) I hated liver. Tried caviar too, but too salty. Leaving soon on my next cruise, so even with the caviar, the rule will be "Try try again!"
Oasis show - "Cats"

It seems folks either love or hate Cats. I for one and very happy it will be staying on Oasis. I'm a fan of the production and I haven't yet seen a bad show on Oasis. We will see it at least once during our March 2020 cruise.
