Thank you for the input. 

I’m cruising with a multigenerational group (6 total). We selected a set dining time over anytime dining. Would early or late seating be better? No small children. 18-74 years old. 
Early: Allows us flexibility in showtimes, ppl to get to dinner at a more usual time/some ppl might not want to stay up so late even on vacation

Late: Less rushed finishing activities onboard/off ship - getting ready for dinner, time to have a pre-dinner drink/stroll, photos

Carnival Magic December 26, 2021(2nd cruise) bringing family who are all 1st-timers

I had a reservation for 1-DAY rental the day of disembarkation. I was assured that Hertz would pick up at POM and transport me to their DT location to pick up the car. No shuttle came. Finally one of the other rental co. Gave us a ride to Hertz. 20 people were waiting in the office. We could maybe get a car after everyone else! We could leav our luggage and come back. We only needed a car for 8 hours. We did not want to spend a day in the Hertz office. We took a taxi to MIA. We rented a car from another co. at sky-high rates, plus $40 for tipping the shuttle and taxi plus tip. What choice did we have? Hertz never responded to my communications.
