I’m sure you can cancel it if desired…Or if they fix the problems it could be fine
Very true. It's a year out and since HA gave all of you a partial refund, I would imagine they are reaching out to the tour operator. I'm at about 50/50 for excurision satisfaction as it is.

I had put off writing it up, but tonight I decided I needed to…I did a HAL excursion focusing on a king crab meal, called King Crab and Campfire.
OMG...I literally just booked this excursion last night for the 2025 cruise.

I would ask HAL (A) why are they 'overselling' this feature/benefit. and then ask (B) what was the criteria for having CO taken away from me and
I would guess that someone with a very high status booked later and demanded the benefit and the lower status passenger lost out. its how the airlines work

Source? Don't blame them, tho...the machines seem very maintenance intensive.
Personally witnessed the missing one on the Rotterdam last month and the Lido bartenders said they were going on the remaining two ships. Self service beer taps were also gone on the Rotterdam...if they were ever there.
And yes...they always seemed to have a lot of down time.

Freestyle has been removed from the Rotterdam. Other ships to follow if not already.

Looking forward to hearing about your experiences. We booked two upcoming cruises without knowing they are "Legendary". June 2025 Arctic Circle RT out of Rotterdam and 2026 Hawaii/Tahiti RT out of San Diego.
Not at all interested in the dress up/party events, but the other enhancements sound awesome.
The longest cruise we have taken was 17 days...so a 28 and 35 cruise is an exciting next step for us.

What I do find strange is that OP's notice shows Isle of Man which has a separate government to UK.
I may be misremembering things, but I recall seeing the Shops open while we were docked in the Isle of Man a couple of weeks ago.

That is exactly our intention in August. However, HAL isn't currently offering that service. I find it unlikely that it's sold out (just keep running the shuttles until you're done), so I'm at a loss.
I thought the same for our May 11 cruise. I was looking for the transfer under Shore Excursions.
It was a different tab. Booked on Feb 21...so August should be available.

Just looking at the Navigator app for an upcoming cruise.....Day 4 "Hot Country" at Billboard Onboard at 8:15 pm.

If your boarding pass is available in the app...it should be...mine is there for the cruise following.
Open your boarding pass and click "Tap for more information". It will show how many Gala Attire Evenings.
Information comes and goes on the App Itinerary in the weeks preceding your cruise.

I just received the same thing for our May sailing out of Rotterdam
I just received the notification as well. We must be on the same voyage.

I have always found the Navigator app to be very hit or miss on the two weeks prior to a voyage. Functionality comes and goes as they add events to the calendar, etc.

It would not work because travel agents often have proprietary booking confirmations and that information is not stored on HAL's servers.
Makes sense but if you book with HA it would be a nice feature.
-
Wouldn't it be awesome if you could go to your booking online and click a little link that says download Booking Confirmation PDF?

We had a Bronze-only event on our May 2023 Trans Atlantic. 95 recipients. Medallions were on our bed a couple of days before - and we didn't think to bring them to the event. I assume the other levels had a separate event.
-
We loved our excursion to Sete Cidades. Even the bus ride was tolerable due to the abundant natural beauty on the way (and a few beers in our backpack).

Now if it was that price and a signature suite, we'd be all over it.
Enjoy the cruise......
Same. We’d take that one for sure.

Another point, just a month ago HAL starting offering these paid upsells around 45 days prior to our sailing (it used to be 2-4 weeks), so watch your emails closely.
Yesterday, 45 days out from our Voyage, got an email for an upsell from Unobstructed Verandah to Vista "Suite". $450 p/p. Hard no.

We booked this cruise ages ago and I’m sure it wasn’t called Legendary at that time.
I just checked on two future bookings. They are listed as Legendary. I had no idea they were Legendary when I booked them. The cruise you are on being one of them - the 2026 voyage w/same itinerary.

@WriterOnDeck Congrats on the Platinum Medallion - lots of amazing memories to get there!!! Smart to reserve a table. Rumors that the MDR crew switched at the end of the GWV. Any truth to that? We had zero issues other than the MDR.
have it all include pinacle; can substitute?
