Thank you so much! I was wondering if one of the formal nights would be on our wedding night haha. I guess we will wait and see! There will probably be 2 formal nights on your cruise, one of which will probably be held on night 2 or 3, depending on if you are in port and if so, what time you leave that port. The second one will probably be on night 8 or 9, again, depending on how long you are in port if you are not at sea.You can pretty much count on the one sea day as having a formal night if it is early or late in the sailing (just not the first night or last night). From there, if you leave a port by 4 PM on one of these nights, that will more likely than not be your other formal night.
On occasion, the ship's admin will make a decision to have one less formal night, but it is rare. Without knowing what you exact sailing is, it's hard to predict on which nights they will be held.

Hey there!
Just wondering if there is any rhyme or reason for formal nights?
Looking to see how many formal nights and when they will be held on our upcoming cruise. There is 1 Sea Day during this cruise (Canada & New England)
Thanks in advance!

We booked an inside guarantee on our upcoming Cruise and got notification that when they assigned our cabin they had upgraded us to a Balcony!
Thank you upgrade fairy [emoji120]

We are getting Married on board the Royal Princess on October 21. It has been hands down the best planning experience ever. Sarah from Royal Ocean Events has made every detail perfect for us!

Hey fellow brides!!
I am getting married on NCL Dawn out of Boston in September 2018 and am having concerns regarding hair/makeup day of (mostly makeup). Have you guys had any concerns regarding wedding makeup or am I the only completely vain person haha. :)
I am working with Tiffany as well, she has been wonderful :)

Thank you all so much, this is exactly why I turn to you here! I will email X and see if there is anything we can do. We have 20 days until we are out even more than 50% so we have some serious thinking to do. They suggested a name change on the reservation or even have the 2nd person go alone , but I doubt my mom (cruising partner) would want to go on a Christmas cruise by herself. :)
I am joining a well known Canadian Charter Airline that is opening their first base in Halifax, NS in the new year and although it will be seasonal at first, there is nothing like a foot in the door to encourage other companies to take a second look at my resume! Plus, Jamaica, Mexico and Cuba don't sound too shabby in the cold of winter. :)
You guys rock :) many thanks!

Thank you all so much, of course I booked with a travel agency :( so that kind of stinks. Apparently I am 63 days out so I would lose 50% and they are not willing to put the remaining amount on a different cruise.
Thank you all for your quick responses.

Hi everyone!
I am booked to go on a 9 Night Xmas cruise on 18Dec, but it looks as though I may have just received my dream job as a flight attendant and will not be able to go through with my booking. My question is:
I am 90+ days out from departure, any idea what the cancellation fee is? I do not want my money back as I will use my flight benefits and go to another port of call later on in the new year and take an X cruise. Has anyone had to defer a Holiday cruise this far out and have success maintaining most of their payment (it was not cheap, as you can imagine).
If not, then I guess I will take the loss because you cannot give up on your dream! Thanks for the help :)

THIS is FANTASTIC! I will be channelling my inner Emma Stone from now on...anyone know what ship this is?

Also booked an AQ Gty on the December 18, 2015 sailing and was able to change no issues!! Literally got off the phone 15 mins ago.
Good luck!

Booked a Veranda GTY on the 18 Dec Sailing of Celebrity Eclipse and already got assigned a cabin, it is obstructed but looks to have a larger balcony as it is on the start of the hump!
#6243 :)

The pictures of the ships interior public spaces remind me of a celebrity ship! It is going to be an amazing experience, for sure!
Thanks for the link, it gave me butterflies of anticipation!

Just got my official invitation, I was even more excited to see that we will be in a balcony cabin (although I wish I would have gotten to see the virtual balconies)!
The Countdown begins!

I am waiting for my email directly from Royal as we speak, I usually spend 30 mins a day playing this Facebook game called myVegas- but they had recently announced their partnering with RC, and then I saw they were giving away a cruise on Quantum. I kept playing and collecting points and viola, I ended up getting an email from them today!
FYI- if you get enough points, you are able to purchase it (1.5 million points), not too bad for a free Facebook game.
They also have other RC perks like Beverage Packages, Complimentary Cruises, % of a certain cruise-- it is certainly worth a look!

I just had to share because I am so pleased with my detective skills.
We (my mother and I) are booked on Oasis departing December 21 (my birthday) purchased October 31. I booked a inside gty for $1186 with hopes that a balcony would drop to less then $1350...but if it didn't happen I would be happy just to be on the ship.
Well...last week I just happened to look on the RCI page and saw there was a Balcony Guarantee for $1349...(fate, right?) and booked it! Just got my cabin assignment...a D3 12262 :). Persistence is KEY!
Happy Cruising everyone!

I am so excited. My mom is Platinum on MLife and that entitles her to a free 3, 4 or 5 day cruise in an ocean view cabin! We thought it was too good to be true, so we called up and inquired.
We are now booked on the 5 night Liberty of the Seas sailing on December 16 in an ocean view mid-ip cabin...plus we get all the perks that comes with it (10 drink coupons, free dinner, free background tour and even 30 mins of free internet, just to name a few)!

Can't wait to read the review and see the pictures!

Is this a cruise on the Tuesday sale? If not and your actual final payment date is today I would call them now.
I agree, if your final payment date is today you should be able to still get your price reduction!
Plus it never hurts to ask! Let us know how you make out

I'm pretty sure it pulls in early early am! I can't wait until our cruise! What is it...33 days?
-
Has anyone actually made use of their mlife benefits on a cruise yet? I would be interested to hear their experiences with all the "perks"!
Especially priority boarding, coupon books and the specialty dinner!
