Looking to do a private or semi-private tour of the Amalfi Coast, including the Blue Grotto. Has anyone used the tour company Sorrento Vibes? Any other company that you used for a similar tour that you were pleased with? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!

Is it possible to avoid the cable car in Santorini by taking a private tour? Most of the tours that I'm seeing online seem to start at the exit of the cable car. I'm concerned for two reasons, 1)my husband has a fear of heights and would have difficulty on the cable car, although he says he'll do it "if he has to", & 2)there will be 5-6 ships in port the day we will be there & I'm afraid there will be significant waits for the cable car that will affect how much time we can explore & enjoy the island. 

For those of you who have gone on half-day or full-day private tours in Greece, what did you give your tour guides as far as a gratuity? A percentage of the cost of the tour? A flat amount?

Looking for recommendations for a beach on Mykonos that is not too hard to get to from the port and preferably not too crowded (although I don't know how possible this is considering we'll be there in July). We're thinking of doing a 4 hour private tour of the island and not sure if we should try to work some beach/swimming time into the tour or just do that after the tour ends, so we don't waste tour time. 

Am I crazy to book a 10:40am flight from Rome to NY-JFK after disembarkation? We want to fly non-stop & are having difficulty finding afternoon flight availability for the category of cabin that we want. Considered staying overnight by the airport and catching morning flight the following day, so that we're not so time-pressured, but my husband isn't able to take any more time off from work. Is this too risky or can it be done?

My family and I are taking the 8-night Greek Isles cruise on Explorer in July, leaving from Rome. We are flying to Rome a few days early because we wanted to take the high-speed train from Rome to Naples to spend a couples of days in Sorrento & hopefully go to Capri to see the Blue Grotto. Not sure the best way to go about this...Can you take the train right to Sorrento or do we need to go to Naples first? Looking for any tips or advice from people who have done this before. Thanks!

We will be sailing on Vision of the Seas from Barcelona in July. Can anyone give some insight into the boarding process at the cruise terminal in Barcelona? We're used to the terminal in Ft Lauderdale, where we are able to get there fairly early in the am and then board by Crown & Anchor level. Is there a similar process in Barcelona? If not, what would be a good time to try to arrive to the terminal so that we are not waiting too long and have some time to explore the ship, get lunch, etc before sailing? Thanks!

We don't have any tours planned for our stop in Nice. What would be a good way for us to spend the day? I'm travelling with my husband and 2 teenaged daughters (14 & 17). We are not big shoppers. Is the beach worth checking out or is it very crowded? Appreciate any ideas...

Would a taxi be the best way for 4 of us, with luggage, to get from the airport to the hotel? If so, what would the expected fare be? Or are we better off reserving a car service with a flat rate to pick us up at the airport?

We have stayed in the Avenida Palace. It is an excellent location several blocks from Placa Catalunya and the top of Las Ramblas. It is also close walking distance to Casa Batllo. We were very happy with the choice.

How did you get from the airport to the hotel and do you remember how much you paid? There will be four of us, with luggage. I'm trying to decide if it's more economical to take a taxi from the airport or reserve a car service ahead of time.

Yes, both of the hotels I mentioned have family rooms that accommodate 4 "adults"

My family and I are staying in Barcelona for 3 nights prior to our cruise on Vision of the Seas in July. We are looking to book a family room for all of us (2 adults, 2 teens). Would anyone have recommendations for either El Avenida Palace or Petit Palace Museum? I believe both are in a similar location, near Las Ramblas. We want to be centrally located...not too far from the main tourist sites, but also not too far from the cruise terminal either. Thanks!

Can anyone recommend another tour company, preferably one that will still transport from the cruise pier? We are sailing on Vision July 2018 for a 12 night Mediterranean Venice cruise and I'm looking into the different shore excursions available, but it's a bit overwhelming. We will be travelling with my 14 & 17 yr old daughters. The 17 yr old is very interested in art. Any recommendations for shore excursions in any of the ports (Nice, Florence, Rome, Amalfi Coast, Venice, Ravenna, & Kotor) would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I have a check-in "appointment" for Harmony, but does anyone know if they really stick to these times? If I get to the terminal earlier than my time, will I be able to check-in or will I have to wait for the time listed on my set sail pass? Thanks!

How do I go about getting WOW bands for my family on Harmony? How much are they?

On Quantum, they had a designated oven that kept baking fresh batches of cookies while the Windjammer was open. It was in a different section of the room, not near the other desserts. It had its own area. Does Harmony have anything like that?
