Carnival – Princess Cruises
Q1:The to die for Beds and Pillows, on Princess Ships are only available for sale in USA.
Can u find a distributer in Australia – from wharf to store to customers.
Maybe “Harvey Norman Retail Co”
Passengers can preorder & pay for mattress/pillows online from Australia.
Then on your Repositioning Cruises October each year,
Princess could transport them from USA to Australia for eg: Harvey Norman to
pickup and distribute.
Q2: Can you test the Merchandise waters and try a Basic Plus Size Men’s & Women’s
“Princess Cruises Logo” Tee Shirt & Polo Top in (Australian Sizes (3xl-6xl)
Suggest maybe a Cobalt Blue Colour to start with.
Stock the Princess Cruises Pillows onboard, for passengers to purchase on Australian Cruises. -
Thanks Nini, yes I did try U-Tube, Google, ICruise.
On CC they have the Cabin Reviews Section, not sure if u can search somehow by Cabin number within the reviews. I did try putting the Cabin No in the search box on CC Forum, and it didn't bring up anything for either Cabin number. -
Hi
Can anyone help out a stressed cruiser. I have tried this last hour to no avail.
I am looking for pictures of Cabin B541 and B305 on Royal Princess. In particular showing the Bunk format.
Thank you in advance for any help offered. -

I am looking for pictures of Cabin B541 and B305 on Royal Princess. 4 Berth some have Bunks from the Ceiling others come down from the wall.
So I am looking for these two cabins specifically to see their setup.
Thank you in advance for any help offered. -
Thank you for sharing your cruise, I enjoyed reading it so much, that my coffee is still sitting untouched (cold) on my desk. Time to retire to bed 🙂

Passengers should not have been allowed to disembark from the Ruby Princess until the tests on the symptomatic passengers came back as negative. It is not good enough for the NSW Health Department to just say that they felt they were at low risk.
I did read that all passengers were given instructions to self-isolate for 14 days, but not sure if this is correct. However, it is obvious that those who flew back to the US, didn't self-isolate.
It is correct,
Passengers were given a notice to self-isolate for 14 days
it was put under their cabin door.
Also many announcements made by the Captain during the cruise, if anyone felt unwell to present themselves to the Medical Center.
Border officer also mentioned the self-isolation when handing in arrivals card
at disembarkation.

I’m going to live off my toilet paper sales for many centuries to come.$5 per sheet, pm me.
My brand went out of stock a few months back. When it returned....what do you know..... the actual sheet size had decreased😱 1cm to 10x10cm
My challenge to everyone! Rip just 1 square off,
I couldn't believe how small they actually are. 😂
The craziness of isolation...

They were let off, but had to self quarantine for 10 days, Now they have been notified of positive CV they have to further extend their quarintine to 14 days.

Sorry for jumping in on the above question. We are travelling the Med. Dubai to London.
I believe the ship keeps your passport, which I have no problem with. But I have NO other form of photo ID as my PP is in maiden name. To late to arrange anything else. Will I be able to leave and board the ship again with only a photocopy of my Passport? -
Hi we are leaving Sun for Dubai to join Sapphire P 26 nts on 21 Mar 2019
there was a Roll Call a few weeks back but it isn't appearing any more?
Is this because the date was set up as a week earlier as some were joining
different sectors. In other words does the Roll Call get deleted once the setup date is reached.?
Thank you :) -
Hi
Quick search nothing came up. Running out of time :) please can anyone tell me what the power plugs are in the cabins.

Might do a blog for you - (a first for me) we are on the Regal from Southampton in October 2020 when she makes her way downunder, debarking in Singapore as DH will need to get back to work after 45 or so days away.
We will spend family time in Europe before this 38 day sector of the cruise leaves.
Regal actually departs from Southampton to Sydney on the 7th October - total of 56 days. So many Aussies are already onboard 😎 gonna be a great cruise.
Rose
Hi Rose, That would be great! to hear how your journey is going on the way to Australia.
After cruising on the Majestic, I feel I need a little Regal Treatment :)- 1

for the Regal Princess, Xmas and New Year Cruise's

Are you able to tell me if there was much availability of free WiFi at the Terminals or around the town, at the different Ports.
Also if you perhaps still have a copy of a Princess Patter which lists the opening & closing times of the various restaurants, for example breakfast, lunch, dinner. I'm assuming this might be different for Sea Days & Port Days.
Thanks in advance :)

Very interesting reading the comments about Cruising Insurance. One question I have
do these policies NRMA,1Cover have Medevac included. I have been told it is a must in case they have to fly you off the ship by Helicopter.
-
Yes I totally agree with all the above. Why can't Princess keep the live! webcams working.
Be nice to have a detailed proper response to this ongoing problem.
Is it controlled at a main center? or on the ships themselves?
Yes I know it depends on the Satellite's on any given day. They used to be a lot more reliable than they are now. Maybe it's a cost cutting factor?

I have done the Ship (Circular Quay Station) to Sydney Domestic Airport many times. It's 18mins by train, very easy to do. You can see the train line from the ship. Its a 5min walk, Stop at the Kiosk by the train station entry. Very easy to find in fact most people heading off the ship will be walking in the same direction.
Get an Opal Card (Free) put A$18 the card then walk through the turnstyle into the train station. .There are attendants to direct you. But it is well sign posted.
Up the lift to the Platform, trains are very regular. Board the Train and get off at the International Airport Stop it takes you right into the Terminal.
You go up the lift from the platform and find your checkin counter.
Note you won't be the only one with a suitcase using the Train and there are attendants there to ask along the way, I'm sure if you have any doubts the Sydney ppl will direct you. It is very easy, provided your suitcase is on wheels. (I can't stress enough to people to purchase one of those 360 degree spin wheel suitcases, they are so easy to wheel upright.) but any suitcase on wheels is fine.
By TAXI (12km or 8miles)The Airport is about 20mins away but peak hour traffic can be very busy at that hour. Still it is a direct option and you will probably have a least an hour to get there, if you disembark by 8am. I did see in a previous post the taxi fare is approx A$40 depending on traffic. Taxi's are available at the Cruise Terminal.
I'm sure someone from Sydney might be able to give you a closer estimate on Taxi fare's from Circular Quay to the Airport.

Have a great cruise :)

Anyone know the current migration status of Stanley? Has he made it out of Alaska yet? So far I haven't heard of anyone sighting him on any sailings in any other regions or even which ships he is available on as yet?
He is on Golden Princess at the moment cruising Sydney to Sydney via PNG - Vanuatu,Noumea. My friend just purchased one.

Gosh I must be the only Elite person who has never been to the E/P Lounge. Hey Siri!! can you remind me next cruise. :)
Cheers

You can go here and look at each individually and most will be current.
Hi Billco
Yes that is the Princess Cruises Link to the Live Webcams. At present there seems to be a problem with the "Live" broadcast. Lets hope they can fix it up soon.
-
Is there anyone that know's whats happening with the live webcams on the Princess Ships? eg: Emerald shows 24 Aug then 03 Sep and so on.
Other ships like Royal are changing every 5 mins showing different destinations and dates. its been like this for a few days now.
