  1. I know this has been asked a hundred times but I'm asking again. I'm leaving next week and the person I thought was going to go is not and I've ask a couple of friends but they all said no so I'm sailing solo. No big deal as I have done it before. I'm on a casino rate; selected two people but never filled out the tba name. I paid the taxes for both people when I book.

The questions, can I just leave the spot as tba? Should I put a fake name in and have them no show? If I do, should I tell them once onboard so they are not looking for them?

    TIA

  2. If you have DOU in the casino only then you can't order at the bar. If you have DOU everywhere you can. If you go to the bar ask a server standing there and most times they will put the order in for you. Also if you tip well server will remember you and come back more often. YMMV

  3. Typical ships turn off the on board cell network when they come into port. Most smart phones will tell you which network you are on at the top of the screen. Once in port you join the land based network and this will usually work for a few miles out to sea. When leaving port you will see no service before they turn the ship base Cellular at Sea service back on. Some networks will give you a roaming message on what the costs are when you are not on an included partner network.

  4. Not sure what happened but I’m on the Dream and the captain announced we were delayed leaving Freeport to disembark passengers. My friend was at the pool and said there was a big fight this afternoon. Maybe they meant what was in the warning email two weeks ago.

  5. I know when sailing from Galveston the Cheers package doesn't start until day two. Are you able to use the 25% off bottles of wine on day 1 as part of Cheers? I'm guessing not but was hoping for some feedback from Texas cruisers who have done this. TIA

  6. Sometimes the wait staff is slow but if you tip an extra dollar or more they remember you. You don't need to see anyone other than a waiter as the offer will be on your card. You should be able to order any single drink under $20.

Greetings. On my casino offer I have drinks on us while playing at the casino. Do I need to check in at the casino when beginning to play to ensure this has been link to me? Also what has been your experience when ordering a drink? Does the service staff come around often? Are any type of drinks available? I play slots and blackjack. Any feedback is appreciated. First time with this offer.
