Hi all. Can anyone who has been on Brilliance of the Seas in Aust recently tell me if there is a seperate lounge for Suites. And do Suite passengers get free drinks during happy hour? If so, are they loaded on seapass to use at other bars?
Thanks heaps. -
I will definitely try a Dark and Stormy. The one I had had spiced rum and I think another alcohol too. Lime and mint do ring a bell. Yum, yum.

A couple of years ago I went on the Pacific Dawn out of Brisbane and discovered a cocktail I loved. But quickly forgot the ingredients as soon as I got home:(
Can anyone help me out? It had spiced rum and ginger ale and other stuff too. I am booked on P & O in Oct 2021, but don't want to wait that long to have one.

Without implicating myself 😇 😏.... Done this and just had 'no show' at counter. No problems, no questions asked.

Luckily Cotswold Eagle is there to correct you!!! Every single time......

Thanks for the response about the Sky Garden. I agree you should be doing a travel show or book. You have a freaky knack of answering questions before they are even asked. Hehe.
-
Dana, you are doing a fantastic job of getting everyone's feet itchy. Can I please ask you about your experience booking the sky garden free tickets? On your recommendation, I am trying to book for the late afternoon on the day we fly in, but all days so far only show 15min intervals up to 2.45pm. How did it work for you? Thanks.

Thanks, caripoo. yes, fingers crossed, I know it is a gamble. Tides seem favourable then, but will have to wait and see. Do you need an italian boating license (is that even a thing?) to hire a boat? DH has Australian boat license.

No you’re not the only one. I am really enjoying this review and learning lots of useful info for my visit to both London and Paris in October. But I will be patient.

We (four adults) will be in Naples on Sun 20th Oct this year and have booked an 'Isle of Capri on your own' transfer through the Ship. Can anybody recommend a company to use from Marina Grande for a trip to the Blue Grotto? There seem to be many companies and many varying reviews, so I was hoping someone can share their own favourable experience. We are thinking of doing that as early as possible and then going up to Anacapri afterwards.

Hi Sunflower. We booked a car/driver through Shore Trip & Tours. There is 9 of us in our group, so it works out quite economical. I haven't used them before but reviews seem good and they have been easy to work with so far. They did require payment up front, but I sort of expected that.

I am interested in this too, thanks Aus Traveller for the info. We will have a car/driver. Which thermal valley would you recommend and do we need to book ahead.

I will be on my first NCL cruise next year on Norwegian Spirit and wondering if you all think I will be able to book tender through TV on this ship, or is just the bigger, newer ships.
-
Oh dear! Thanks again.
-
Thank you all for your answers. Maybe I can take bottled water on board with me?
-
I am new to NCL and have a cruise booked for Oct 2019. Is bottled water not included in UBP?

My experience - if you look at toilet paper that is printed, puppies or flowers or such, they are always up the right way if paper goes over. If you put it under, they are upside down on the roll. I have been waiting for years to share this useful observation with someone.
Loving this review too.
Always over! TP is printed on the top side -that seems like confirmation to me.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Another strong agreement.
We have done both cruises and land trips to NZ. Cruises are nice but barely give you a taste of the country. If you want to see and learn about NZ history and culture, take a land trip. Generally driving is pretty easy (once you learn to keep right), traffic is light (except in Auckland), distances, driving time between sights is reasonable and generally very scenic. Motels are abundant and of good quality (get the AA booklet, free at their offices and in most motel offices). The people are charming and eager to tell you about their country and to hear about yours.
Go to the library and get a couple of NZ guidebooks and start making a list.
Enjoy your trip!
Just to be sure..... Keep left in New Zealand.

Enjoying your review very much. Are you coming back?

I am interested in this too. Anyone?

Thank you. Just what I wanted. Corny Christmas movies are always a favourite for us too. That sounds a little more promising than the previous review.

Here's a review. You're not gonna like it. ;)
Oh dear. Thanks. Hopefully they have got it together a bit more by now. We are committed and can't back out.

Thanks. I haven’t been on BOTS but have sailed on Rhapsody before and loved the Viking Crown lounge on her. Sounds like a nice area for afternoon drinks.
