  1. This wasn't the case for me. My TA quoted me a price on 4/28 and the first person price was exactly that when I booked on 5/1, but the 2nd was 1/2 price.

I won't question your loyalty...I'm disappointed too!! This "sale" is no sale. Just an industry gimmick to get you on the website and looking at cruises. I have two cruises booked for next April. I checked out the WOW BOGO rates and the rates actually went UP for both cruises.
  2. Sounds a lot like our TA. The biggest benefit is that he has learned what we like and what are deal breakers and is able to give us great advice on which ships he thinks we will prefer. He loves cruising and seems to love talking about it so I never feel like a bother. Of course I deal with him mostly over e-mail because I've become allergic to talking on the phone :p

  3. Do you have time at the stops to walk to those places or do they just point them out and move on? Or can you catch another train later?

Loving the pictures! We leave in 12 days. Not that I'm counting.

The Conch tour was pretty good. It was very informative and you get to see a lot of things. It is not a true hop-on, hop-off train as you might think. There are only 4 places you can hop-on/off. Stop #3 is 5 blocks from the southern most point and 3 blocks from the Hemingway house. All is all, its a great way to see the town.
  4. There are plenty of reasons in the world - not the least of which some people find it downright wasteful to buy a jacket or "formal" dress for one or two nights of vacation. We have no need for these things in our regular life and I don't choose to spend my money on something that will only be worn for a few hours. We still dress nice, but by no means formal and I don't even require my husband to wear a tie

We will be on Navigator of the Seas in August and hope they still have the 2 nights. I also would like to see RCCL deny admittance for people that do not dress, in formal attire, for formal nights. Kids without a suit jacket of at least a sports coat is understandable but there is not a reason in the world, other than some people are all about "me" and it is "my" cruise, for them to not be in formal dress on those 2 nights. There are other venues and it is requested in the contract that they have all agreed too when they book the cruise.
