  1. Yes I know but it takes to each individual topic I used be able to go to the next page topic list. And then select which one I want to read!. The back arrow takes back you to the first page. Then you got figure your what page last you in. Im surprised no one else had commented on this.  But thanks for responding.

  2. I sent a photo of my previous Princess cruise card to the below address and got a reply the following day and got Black status, I tried filling in the official form but never got a reply. Reading other threads regarding status match there seems to confusion all round, which is not surprising with the MSC website which is a bit erratic. Some people get Gold and some Black even though they had the same status with another line.

I’m gold also on NCL but don’t think I kept my card. Can a pic of the website work as well?

  3. I’m retired and can pick up and go on a cruise at any time. I live in South Florida and can get to Fort Lauderdale or Miami in about an hour. Other than the obvious problem of perhaps not being able to get my preferred cabin, why should I not wait until within 30 days of sailing to book a cruise? With this strategy I don’t pay a deposit, I’m in little danger of paying penalties, I don’t need trip cancellation insurance, and I may get a rock bottom price on an unfilled ship. This seems to be an especially good ploy on cruises round trip to Florida, but gets a bit more complicated on those that need air. What am I missing?

Ditto that’s the way we cruise. I’ve done a week in advance. Got on the NCL Epic a few years ago for 199.00 pp: only way for us: retired and pack at all times. we are in south FL too,

  4. I am wanting to book a 7 day cruise on the Getaway in August in a inside cabin. Right now for the 30th, its 679 pp which is a good price. But I was wondering if I should chance it and wait until after final payment. I have the ability to pay in full and don't care where my cabin is

I know there is not a set answer but would love to know what other cruise critic members would do in my situation. Plus I'm sitting in a car bored to death just thinking about cruises

Please excuse any typos as I'm using Tapatalk on my mobile

Hi I booked the Epic l1 week in advance and got a inside room for 249+ port charges and tax .. I'm lucky I live in Miami so last minute is ok for us..depends where your from sometimes last minute is such a deal. It all about how comfortable you are. Other times I've book a year in advance and saw the price go up and up. It a gamble you have to take.

    Good luck...

  5. Just had my second A1c test and my number has dropped to 6.0!!!! Needless to say I am very relieved! Also excited that I was able to drop it that fast in three months! I am less worried about what to eat on my cruise, but I will still behave!

Awesome good for you 6.0 is control catagory so Kudos to you!! ... I went from 7.9 to 5.9 by droping 20 LBs.. I hope to loose another 10 By my Aug cruise... but exercise and carb control.. is the best way to go cruising.. lots of protien( somokes samon omettes) yum :) and salads and the sugar free desserts sometimes are good..

  6. Check and see if they are still doing the gourmet dinner. It is expensive, (90 or so) but well worth it if you want a truly special night. It includes wines paired to each course.

Chef Collin Hudson's staff are the best.
