Afraid so. Police, soldiers idk. Big guns, I’d call them M-16s but that’s a guess.
That's really sad to hear. I mean it's Cabo. Or, was it?!
The world is going gaga.

I believe (not positive, so please put down the flame throwers) that it is maritime rather than just cruiseline, and the cruiseline is following that guide.
The maritime law. There is none in international waters.

Doesn't a device have to be connected to cellular before a hotspot can be active? Or can WiFi be shared hotspot-to-hotspot?
Wi-Fi systems can either act as a client OR an access point. Since the Wi-Fi cannot simultaneously perform both roles, you will have no way to share your Wi-Fi.

Lady Arwen
my comment was your statement that crime is worse now than in 2012. All the statistics that I read the crime rate is down after 2018.
Wow. Where did you read that.

2. Is smoking allowed in the Casino? I read somewhere that is it completely smoke -free on cruises out of Australia and New Zealand. Can anyone confirm please?
Yes, it is smoke free on OZ and NZ sailings. But on the repositioning cruise, once we leave NZ waters, I'm pretty sure smoking will be allowed again.

The Retreat isn't noisy, it's a relaxing area. It's a popular place during sunny days, but you will usually find empty loungers.

We’ve been there once and had a great tour!
I also had a great shore excursion there, with a stop at Lake Nicaragua, Apoyo Lagoon with a view of Mombacho Volcano, Masaya Volcano with its redhot lava lake and a nice lunch in Granada.

Except apparently Nicaragua, lol! The list has that still on it.
Yes. For Princess this is still the planned itierary.
That's why you can book shore excursions there.
Although it is most likely that San Juan del Sur will be cancelled.
I would not book anything there first.

How do I find out the exact TRUE itinerary? Even their list vs their map says two different things. The map says it stops in PV (and also Nicaragua) and the list says Manzanillo. I mean who knows the TRUE itinerary?
The images are often not accurate.
What is in the list will be the planned itinerary.

Some of the upcoming Panama Canal itineraries now include Puerto Quetzal (Guatemala) or Puerto Chiapas (Mexico) instead of San Juan del Sur (Nicaragua).
The Emerald made a stop in San Juan del Sur on January 9, 2020. We must have been one of the last Princess sailings that stopped there, more than 4 years ago. Then came Corona. Then came political unrest.- 1

I was aware it was not a stand alone steakhouse but inside the buffet. It’s not even a deal, it’s the same $39 charge. Current cruisers don’t even know until they show up.
If you are on the ship, just go up there and take a look by yourself. The photos don't look too bad.

Ok, bucket list. Being called a fan boy in an internet forum. ✅
Priceless.

It's a lot of fully comprehensive insurance mentality here.

I didn't notice any chaos in the pictures.
Me neither. It looks pretty good.
I just mentioned early reports from February.
39 USD + service charge. Thought it was 29 USD.

Sharing a kitchen makes sense, don't ya think? But that is much different than sharing a buffet line.
Without alternative up there on Lido deck, that's for sure. But several people in this forum reported chaos and they got their sides after they finished the main (Diamond). Waiters walkways too long maybe. Even if they do not stand in the lines.

I hope you don't seriously expect someone who made a reservation in advance to go scouring the internet for a press release (with Sapphire tangentially mentioned, at that) just in case Princess happened to change the type of restaurant before their sailing.
So whats's the problem? Just cancel and get the refund. Real drama here.

I like steakhouses (I come from a beef steak so have had it all my life) and really have had zero luck lately at Crown Grill or Sterling Steakhouse.
Same here. Bad luck, last one on the Royal. I changed my 2nd Crown reservation to Sabatini's instead.

I doubt the sides and salads are at the same buffet the common people use.
Yes, it is. People on the Diamond reported it in this forum. The waiters get the sides just from Horizon Court galley. And so is the beef.

I simply said that I don’t want to dine at chain restaurants. If there is a Sabatini’s in Times Square or Vegas, I missed them.
Technically, Sabatini's is also a chain restaurant, available on most Princess ships. 😉
