We are booked with Crown Plaza in San Pedro, using their Park  and Cruise  rate in Feb of  '20.  Having recently read that there is a homeless encampment next door to their parking facility, we are wondering about the safety of parking there?  Would appreciate anyone's   recent experience.  Thank you.

We are booked on Hal's circumnavigation of South America embarking this coming January. Our ages (80 & 71) may prevent us from getting the yellow fever shots. We asked pcc about access to ports with medical waiver. He said it is up to the individual port authorities. We are wondering if many of the ports will deny us access? What have your experiences been? Thank you.

Planning an amazon river cruise.......our ages (80 & 71) may not permit getting the yellow fever shots. If we have waivers, will we still be permitted to go ashore/excursions? Our personal cruise consultant checked for us. It seems it is up to the individual ports. Has anyone been denied going ashore because of this? Many ports?

The RT to Australia would be most appealing.

A Round trip Australia/New Zealand/ South Pacific cruise from San Diego or SF.

 

Also, Princess is doing a RT Alaska cruise out of LA in 2018...maybe HAL could offer a similar one out of San Diego.

We, too, were told the 10 and 12 shuttles were full. We are concerned the 2 pm will not get us to the ship on time. The hotel suggested we could go at 8 am. We're wondering if there will be any porters, etc there that early?

We're thinking of getting an air purifier system, the model that is the size of a travel mug. Are wondering if it would be questioned and/or confiscated at airport or when boarding ship?

Appreciate the info. We are booked on the Veendam, where we see Jazzdagen Tours has a group. We don't like jazz, and are wondering if HAL will still include their regular entertainment? Jazzdagen website mentions 7 hours daily of jazz. Or is that just for their group? We're thinking of changing to a different date. Thanks.
