We are considering sailing on the Eurodam in Feb. 2016. Someone told me this is for Old people and that everything closes down early at night. Although I am trying to take a break from the Cattle like feeling I experienced on my last cruise I would like alittle action.

 

Is Holland America for the Older crowd?

In my opinion yes.

It's an amazing line amazing set ice amazing crow but we were very bird at night and we are young 60 62.

The only advantage is that we can. Have great converse with the other passengers T dinner time, which I find somewhat difficult to do in the fun ship.

Pork belly?? That is just gross.

Grown up don't say YAC about food.

What yammy for you like hamburgers is gross for someone else , but mature people know that and they don't say gross about food.

Seen it done it! But it makes some people happy so be it. I would like to know what the staff would wish and go alone with them, I never asked them ,how or why would they enjoy that when they over work under paid?

P.s Carnival is not the only cruise line that preform in the dinning room.

I know he is doing one on the West Coast as well. I think details are suppose to be out tomorrow.

O noooooo. I'm gone miss it ? We going on the miracle May 30th and June 27. Any chance you might change your dates?

What is it with the Indian food on the buffets? Our last cruise had it on the tables for lunch almost everyday. Sorry It's nasty ! We were on Carnival for 5 days. I can understand one day. But 4 out of 5 Come on! And it looks like NCL also has it on there buffet. I just can't take another cruise filled with Curry ...I hope they don't serve in morning noon and night.

Am I the only one who doesn't like it ??

I believe it was the imagination that we took not long ago , they had Indian buffet just out side the lido which was a brilliant idea ,this way people that don't care for the aroma don't have to go by it.

Saying that ! What's with all the raving about Guys burgers ? It's just a burger not different then on all other ships that don't have this sign up.

If I wanted a burger I'll go to the drive thru and get this awful thing for $1.00

In the future think about what you say or right about other cultures foods.

Not everyone lives on meat and potatoes .

I'm sure there is more on offer than Indian food at the buffet table..

 

For those of us that don't appreciate pizza's, Burgers, hot dogs and bland casseroles, stews and chicken nuggets etc..

 

It's a welcome change to enjoy the subtlties and flavors of spices coming together in a taste sensation!! :D

 

Thank goodness the cruise ships have opened up there offerings to offer more than the typical bland North American Fayre!!

Haven't been on HAL, but it seems to have a reputation as being mostly for elderly cruisers. What's your take on that? Did any of the venues offer slow or ballroom style dancing? What about the typical "shake your booty" music?

We been on one HAL and one princess and 12 CC so this is my feeling.

We love HAl the service superb, food great ,no shaking your booty they might break:) and we are in our 60th , by 10pm it was a empty everywheel chair and walker parked.

Pleasure to seat at the dinning table and have mature intel agent converststion no running kids.

More or less princess the same.

Why we been on CC 12 times? Price! I think it time to change again , we getting tried of the same food on every ship the loud crowd ,running kids and not so great show.

I must say the comedy is good and if they have a live band for dancing they usually very good.

We shook our booty to Latin dance and on the last cruise FREEDOM there was a great Latin band.

We just came back from our 8 days on the Freedom .

Visiting the ports was the best thing other that I don't have anything great to say and been on few cruise before.

We seen one show at night and one time adult comedy show .

We are not the kind that go to bed at 10pm after dinner.

BUT we did spend every night following the Latin band that played there, if it wasn't fir them we would probably hang around the casino and burn more $$$$$ .

Anyone tell me what kind if live music they have on the Breeze except the piano bar?

We going oon the valor 12/11/2011 been on carnival few cruises but the first valor.
