    Hi there

I have just made a huge huge error. I accidentally ticked the box to say my 10 year old daughter was more than 24 weeks pregnant in the app. It is now saying she is denied boarding. She is not pregnant will this be able to be resolved by telephone if I call when the lines open tomorrow - I feel such an idiot I just didn’t read properly.

    Thanks

    kim

Don't even bother calling.  They won't be able to help you and the port will be able to board her without a problem.  Yes, I know it's frustrating and stressful - we had the same issue when a male was checked as being pregnant and after 2 hours calling them that's what they told me.  You can still get to the setsail passes if you print them off from a computer or you check in a different place in the app (I forget exactly where)  Don't stress, I promise even though it looks scary.

Adventure Ocean is open and if you go back to Day 2 of this post I posted the hours of operation.  It’s not continuous, it’s broken down to 3 sections.  After hours it’s $7.00 per hour until 1AM if I recall correctly!  I hope this helps.

Hi Benny.  Thanks for replying!  Those are the "normal" times, but there used to be another option - https://www.royalcaribbean.com/faq/topics/my-family-time-dining but it had stopped due to COVID and I don't believe this particular program has restarted yet but hard information is not easy to find out.  Thank you!

I know you said you don't want to hang out too much at AO due to no kids, but we are sailing Sep 25 and I'd really like to know if the my family time (first seating, kids get taken in ~45 minutes to AO directly) is in operation, and if not, do they have any idea when that may resume?  We want to try this for the first time due to the kids being old enough to actually go to the MDR instead of just having WJ food all the time but they still might protest at sitting through the whole dinner (and they want to go back to AO to see their friends).  Thank you so much for all the information you're sending back as well!

  4. Also want to get first hand information about the adventure ocean time slots / reservations, I'm hearing very different things depending on when the person cruised, so just trying to find out the most current policy.  The most current thing I see is that reservations are required(?)/recommended during port days only

🙄 Did you read the entire thread? The person I was responding to claimed his cruise from Baltimore stopped in Orlando. I suggested he check the departures from Frederick, Maryland for different itineraries.

Please check state maps for Florida and Maryland if you need help with the cruise port cities of Orlando and Frederick.

We could keep the joke going with a Harpers Ferry stop for Frederick, but I think at that point we're limiting the amount of people that will get the joke.

  6. so we live in DC and we've done virtually all the itineraries out of Baltimore - Both the southern and northern on RCCL and the southern on Carnival.  I agree that the FL port stops are kind of lame - one we took last year was a 9 day on RCCL and did Charleston, Orlando, and Miami in addition to Nassau.  But it is what it is for those northern departures.  The only other stop you'd really have a chance to get to would be Coco Cay or Freeport.  You'd need to look for the longer itineraries to get further away and they don't run those as frequently.

  7. Is this being sold to you as one ticket or are you stitching it together yourself? If it's one ticket, they must abide by the airports published minimum connection time in order to sell it to you. However, some of those times are incredibly short and ill-advised. If you're doing it yourself, it's even more of a bad idea, as they will have no responsibility if your first flight gets delayed to rebook you.
