I am trying to contact Jorge about a tour in Costa Rica March 2..We too just want to go to the chocolate making,, and beach.. and shopping.. I don't see any prices listed on his website.

Thanks for posting this,, we too are doing a tour with him in March,, we are on the Pride.. I cant wait.. We were going to the more strenuous hike tour but he could not get anyone else to sign up so we are doing this tour you mentioned instead..

I didn't know that about saving the 15%. We are going to be on a 14 night cruise, I wish they would offer a larger package at a better price.. I might have to order 2 packages pre cruise then..

Somany good points.. I just cant decide. Would it be wrong to put deposits down on both of them since they are refundable?? Then I can decide in a few months?? My husband says florida so we can visit a friend of his that lives about an hour from the Port,, we would go down a few days early.. But I think driving to Port is a big PLUS too.

I was on the pride repo with only 30 kids,, that was awesome! I think with the Sunshine being 13 nights it still wont be a cruise full of kids.. Presidents day is only Monday off,, maybe take them out of school for a week but not 2.. I am still on the fence here..

Yes we are looking at the 2/21 cruise. I just looked again and I only see 7'ports.

We are thinking that you both are right about the sea days being not as nice in and out of baltimore. If they close the dome it will be good. But very crowded I am sure. They did not close it coming back a few weeks ago but the only bad day was the last sea day.

We just got off the Pride repo cruise and loved it. We are looking to rebook for next year. It is 14 nights round trip out of baltimore. 8 ports. No airfare. But three sea days coming back.

Sunshine is 13 nights out of port canaveral with 7 ports and two sea days coming back. We would have to fly but is about the same price for both( sunshine including airfare would be about the price of the pride without). Does anyone prefer one ship over the other??

Does Carnival run a drink of the day special? on our last RCI cruise they had a drink special everyday at a great price.. We could not wait to see what it was each day.. Rum runner was ran several times.

great review.. We too will be on the 14 night cruise March 15th.. Which Pub had the good dance band? I want to find it. I hate ball room dancing. I hope that is not all over the ship..

Do you purchase the wine package onboard or do you do it before before?

We need a 10 bottle package as we are on the Pride repo cruise..

I think it is worth paying 60-70 for a bottle of rum.. We get it the first night in the room and we get juice from the juice station in the morning to make some nice drinks.. Usually with dinner we order wine..

I thought smoking was not allowed on balconies anymore??? I know princess and RCI don't allow it,, if Carnival allows it I am glad I am getting OV this time..

This is so sad.. Roatan was our Favorite port. We liked it so much that we have been looking a renting a house for two weeks instead of a cruise next winter.. We took a tour all around the island and the lady that took us said if it were not for the cruise ship there would be 80 percent unemployment there.. How horrible for that this could potentially ruin there already bad economy.. I feel sad for the crew member family and for all the people relying in the ships to come there.. It is such a Beautiful island..

Yah.. I was wondering this too as we have 14 points and we will be going on a 15 night cruise so that takes us to 25.. So we will get gold?? what is the points to gold?? I thought 24 or 25.

I got a reply back from him finally saying that since we do not wish to go at 9 am he regrets to inform us that he has cancelled us. With. He didn't even ask me if I could possible just go at 9. So I contacted Raymond tours and he said he could take us out on his 11 am tour. He had good reviews.

We are thinking of taking this tour when we are in sanjuan in a week. Is the start and end of tour with in walking distance of the cruise port? Is 70$ too much for this.??

I don't do dairy and like to bring my own non dairy creamer. I always keep it in the fries but we have never been on the grandeur and I don't know I'd they have a fridge in the room. Does any one know? We are in cabin 3644

I sent a second email and finally heard back from him. He said to meet him at 9am.. but I thought he went out 9, 10 and 11 depending on how long you want to shop..I do not want to shop for 3 hours.. So I emailed him back to see if we can go later and no response.. So I don't know if we should go at 9 or chance a later pick up..

The tour I was on last year was a small bus that held about 12-15. It was fun.. I did the one that included a stop at orient beach,, marigold, maho beach,,had lunch at sunset grill, and we did lots of other stops .. great time
