I have used VIP Transportation Inc. 808-836-0317 or Auntiealoha.viptrans.com and they were amazing. Picked us up right at the port off of the POA and did a tour of the island with thing that were if interest to us (there were 6 of us and only us in our own van) then dropped us right off at the airport in time for our flight. We liked them so much we have booked them again for our upcoming cruise in May as well.

We did the POA Hawaii cruise 3 years ago and have planned to do it again in May 2018. We have chose to do the cruise again becasue you get to see all of the islands and do as much or as little as you want at each port. I like that the ship is my floating hotel and restaurant base, but I can take in as much as I want at each island. To me, I think its a great way to see Hawaii, and the ship as recently been updated from when I was on it 3 years ago, and it needed it badly!

3 years ago when I was in Hawaii we booked VIP Transport since there were 6 of us and it was definitely worth having a private tour guide who worked with us to show us around for an entire 8 hours in a private large van, and we had all of our luggage with us and were pickup at the peer and dropped right off at the airport. Im going again in May 2018 with 8 people this time and have booked the same tour operator since we were so happy with them last time (we even booked Earl as our tour guide again, since we really enjoyed him). We booked a private shuttle through VIP and they were great. There were 6 of us plus all of our luggage (we booked after our cruise since we got off ship at 8:30am and our flight wasnt until 11:15pm). They tooks us to all of the must see places on Oahu and took up a good 8 hours of our day. Much better than booking through the cruise line then having to go where the tour is scheduled and only having limited time at each place. If we wanted to spend an hour some place then we did and other places we were just there for a short period of time. Definitely recommend doing your own tour and if your a small enough group rent a car and GPS and google the best things to see before you go and set out on your own. Enjoy
