  1. Hi Vera which trip on the Regal are you going to be on? This is what they sent me the after I requested information for our trip in May.

    H Laura,

Lawrence Andrada is the Onboard Services Coordinator for the Regal Princess. He is out of the office today and I am helping with some of his emails.

Below are the details he will need to setup your Cruise Critic Meet & Greet:

    1. Date.

    1. Time.

    1. Estimated head count (no need for names & booking#'s). COLOR]

    1. Name & Booking# of the escort for the event (I'm assuming this will be you?).
Upon receiving the above info, we will determine a suitable location.
Typically, most Cruise Critic escorts will have this event setup 2nd day of sail around 10am/11am.
He will need a confirmed guest count no later than 14 days form sail.

And here is what we always setup for Cruise Critic Meet & Greets as we normally have them on every voyage:

    • Cash Open Bar.
    • Dry Snacks.
    • Request for Captain & Senior Staff to attend (work schedule permitting).

    Regards,

Angie Northcutt on behalf of Lawrence Andrada

    Onboard Services Coordinator

Hope you have fun with your new experience with Princess we enjoy all our meet & greets but last year on the Regal was the best. Hope our May 1st. trip is as good. We have a great group so far. Also the TA before our trip seems like a lot of fun.

    Enjoy

Thank you to everyone for your imput. Lawrence Andrada alias Justprettyinpink has been in touch with the same details listed above. I will get all the info to him

before our Baltic cruise June 3rd from Copenhagen.

    Thanks again everyone.

    Cheers Vera

  2. I have been involved with organizing these events on several cruises. My experience indicates that the effort of doing something formal is not worth doing. What has worked best for us is to designate an area of the ship and the time and suggest all interested drop by.

    Doc

I have never been on the Princess Regal before (only ever sailed HAL) can you suggest a meeting area? This may be the simplest way. Thanks

    Vera

  3. Does anyone know of any tour companies for a pick up at the Puerto Quetzal Port to Antigua Guatemala? I contacted TURANSA but they want full payment upfront, and we would prefer a small deposit, or credit card # to confirm reservation and be able to pay in cash the day of the tour.

Just wondering if anyone might know of other companies?

We are arriving by cruise ship in April so following in your footsteps.

I wonder what you ended up doing? Would you now recommend using the ships transfer or do you feel it was safe to pick up something at the port. There are 6 of us.

    Cheers

    Vera
