Whatever happened to biodegradable paper straws? Maybe they're too expensive?
That whipped concoction that Carnival calls "whipped butter" tastes like unsalted butter that is whipped to add air into it so it will go further...I wouldn't be surprised to find out that they also put oil in it. We added salt to the whipped butter on our table in the MDR and it still tasted awful.
It is not butter, horrible taste and extremely oily. Stick a rope in a bowl of it, light it and it would burn for days.

The easy way, 10 cruises, took less than 3 years, 7 and 5 nights. The 5 nighters when you could still get 3 ports out of Jacksonville . Love the Dream class ships...

Would sail on a Carnival ship that had no MDR, but had another free eating venue to supplement the Lido buffet, if so, what would you suggest?

I have never read about anyone falling from high above in the Atriums', I have to wonder why, are the railings higher or is it the distasteful thought of the sudden stop that prevents people from trying to commit suicide there?

Not true

The blue will help the pier runners locate the ship quicker in multi ship ports...

I like the look a lot, it gives the ship a nice sleek look, plus the blue color will contrast very nicely with the ships bow wave...

Carnival-Free? Oxymoron?

And, I am always surprised that people can afford a cruise for a family, but can't afford the minor cost of a few items for room service?
I am not surprised, the cost may not be affordable for some people and some families that were barely able to save enough money for the cruise and some money for excursions for the kids. You, the queen Kathryn, are fortunate enough to be able to bear the minor cost...

Some people hold a table by playing cards or board games, when they finally get hungry or the lines go down they eat...

I think the $2.50 charge for popcorn is to make sure only people who really want it, get it. In other words, if it were free, you would have 1,000 people grabbing a popcorn and it may not be realistic from a logistical perspective.
I believe a $1.00 charge would achieve the same result...

Carnival ships with Cloud 9 Spas that have Thalasso pools...

The Dream, like the layout of the Cloud 9 Spa, not a fan of the décor though...

They used to have superb production shows. Now they have a rather third rate production called playlist productions
We cruise mostly Carnival and will continue to sail Carnival. But...
Can't agree more, the production shows are third rate, just terrible...

Just like every other ship, look at the posts here which is more prevalent. For the record, she has the 2nd highest cruiser ranking of Carnival ships....
All the rest came in first...

Why a name change, Because Carnival can call it a new ship, of course...

What a deal. Free cruise + 50% off for getting a little bit wet. No need to spend money and play Bingo. Those passengers hit the jackpot.
I hope I never hit that jackpot...

I am waiting for the new story —
“Hotel in Butte, Montana has broken pipe - rooms flood”...I mean seriously....anything these days at sea is sensational.
I am positive that the Butte hotel does not have up to 3,000 guests booked every night throughout the year and all their rooms booked every night....

No more pop overs, no more butter, no more this, no more that, we are tired of Carnivals many 'no mores'. So, we have decided on our "no more', no more Carnival (just cancelled next April's cruise on the Breeze). We were Platinum cruisers and will miss the Dream class ships but we have discovered RCI's Allure class ships and are wowed by them , so all is good...
