  1. I have used them several times.  After you have placed the order online they phone to confirm the order and usually give you a choice of collection date, normally two to four days before your departure date.  I would suggest a call to them before booking, I have found them to be very helpful.

Correct and neither are bottles of wine at dinner.  Can't think why not.  at least they could include house wine.

Well I have read through the full terms and cannot see this exclusion, can you please direct me to where it says that peroni and crabbies are excluded, thank you.

Also just read that the loyalty discount will apply, but does not say if this is after OBS is used up, or as a special case and regardless if you have a OBS.

    Thank you

Well, this package is a total no - brainer to avoid for us as lovers of a nice bottle of wine at dinner, G&T's with Fevertree tonic, large glass of Peroni, the odd bottle of Crabbies and a nice cocktail or Prosecco or two.... Not all at once I hasten to add and not covered by this package, so no point.

So are you saying that Peroni and Crabbies ginger beer not included in this package ?

  4. Normal time off the ship is from 0800hrs, taxi / mini bus from the terminal is currently about $8 each way if there is 4 to 6 persons on board.  Journey time going at around 0800 to 0830hrs is 45 mins.  Returning I would allow up to 90 mins. travel time due to the fact it is always heavier traffic in the afternoons and if you catch a bridge swing it could be a good 20 mins. delay.  We were there in November 2018 and there is not very much of a beach left at Maho, but still brollies and loungers.  If its planes your after jet stuff usually starts around 1230hrs.  Have a great time, we are back there 25th Feb. on Britannia.

  5. Hi

The on board spend will not show up on the personaliser, it should show up on your Booking confirmation invoice which should be e mailed direct from P and O if you booked with them, or you may have to request it from your Travel Agent / Cruise company if you booked thou. them.  Even with a select booking it may not show a stateroom category until the cabin has been assigned to you.  It has happen a few times with us, especially  near the departure date.

  6. We are ariving at Southampton Airport from Scotland ,mid morning Thursday 27th Oct for Britannia cruise leaving on Friday

What are the waiting times like at a taxi rank? or is it better to pre book .

You either have the day or the date wrong, the ship departs Friday 27th. See you on board.

Must have posted as you were posting 3 mins.difference

  7. On formal nights evening casual dress is OK in the buffet, American diner (cover charge) and probably the Glass House although the Glass house is described as formal on the P&O site in my experience is it is actually evening casual on formal nights.

No shorts in public rooms after 6pm though and I have seen this enforced.

Lets not have this topic degenerate into another argument about dress codes

As we are going on Britannia next week, could you tell me where the American Diner is ? Is it a new dining outlet on the ship ? can't remember it on our last cruise.

    Thank you

  8. Has anyone stayed forward on deck 5 before ? We’re going on a girls weekend to Bruges , I’m slightly worried as I’ve always had much higher up cabins . Do you really feel more there ??

Sent from my iPhone using Forums

When you say Feel more , do you mean movement ?. We have been in the outside cabins on P deck a couple of times, even in Bay of Biscay, the movement to me seemed no different to say deck 12. To be frank I would rather be down on deck 5, it was very quiet, and apart from some noise from the theatre, a good nights sleep.

  9. Flights to the Caribbean usually depart between about 0830-1130hrs and are between 8 and 9 hours duration dependant on aircraft type, if you go into the second level of flight info, i.e to book a seat it should give the departure / arrival times

  10. I will be on Britannia in February, they have an excursion,Farewell to Barbados on the last day,a tour and then you are taken to the airport for flight to UK.I usually stay over for a couple of nights after the cruise and then fly back so I have never used the transfer on the last day.Just wandering if you do'nt go on the tour what time do the tranfer coaches leave for the airport and what happens to your luggage while you are out and about on the last day,my flight back to UK takes off at 1850.

Also if you are not aware, your main "hold" luggage is collected from outside your cabin the night before you disembark the ship and you next see it at arrival in your UK airport. Have a great cruise.
