Has anyone done the mexacology guacamole class in cozumel with Celebrity?

We are sailing of Jan 2 and stopping in Colombia.  Home pretest is required.  How do we show results of our home test?

We leave tomorrow for the Iconic Med out of Barcelona. We paid for the air deviation and found out the hard way that we can't use the included transfers with deviation. Neither Viking nor our TA told us this. Ugh! We did get to choose our flights and times and seats. When we used Viking air it was 2 stops to Europe and one time a 5 hr layover in Paris! I guess if it's free you must decide if this is worth it to you. Btw, some discount TA's give $300 and more OBC even if you have gotten a price from Viking first. It works.

Sailing next Thursday, still waiting! We have guarantee.

I would call Viking today and ask directly. What does your MVJ say when you log in?

I check MVJ all the time and it still say guarantee. We hope to know before we fly!

We sail on Jan 25 from Barcelona, have a guarantee cabin and the Viking website says Sold Outfit :confused:. Does anyone have any info on how this is handled? I've read other reviews that cabins were assigned at final payment day which was months ago.

NO. Viking does not do currency exchange. You will have to bring euros or even better, get them from an ATM when you arrive. Viking will make change for you if you have too many large bills.

 

DO bring an ATM card with you so that you can get cash along the way. There were a couple of folks on the ship who underestimated their cash needs and were scrounging to get a few more euros (enough for the cab to the hotel). But, they did not want to bring their debit/ATM cards--and to some extend, they were right not to.

 

However, there is a way around it and you may still have time to make it work. Open a second checking account with its own debit/ATM card and seed it with a couple of thousand dollars. Set the retail maximum to $0 so it can't be used as a credit card and set the daily ATM limit to whatever you want. I just go with whatever the bank's limit is. Don't let any of your other accounts be attached to this card.

Where can I find on myvikingjourney.com that my shore excursions that I cancelled are actually cancelled?

We booked several months ago. We sail JAN 25 and as of today JAN 1 don't have a cabin assignment. Has anyone not gotten their cabin until day of?
