  1. I've cruised Disney many times, but never had to deal with the chance of a storm. I leave Monday on Dream, and am curious as to what Disney will do if the storm does in fact form, and turn to the right headed toward the Bahamas. I know they will sail around the strom, but does that mean they will take us to other ports or does that mean we will sail around for 4 days?

  2. I've been on 4 DCL cruises, and never heard them doing a horn battle with another cruise line. Guess you just have to be lucky enough to be on when it happens. I know it's rare for 2 Disney ships to be in the same port on the same day, but when it does I want to try and be on one of them.

  3. We stayed in 9672 once. The verandah is very nice sized, but we won't stay in that stateroom again because of the motion of the ship we felt back there. We have cruised on the Dream 5 times, and that stateroom was the only one we felt any kind of motion in. I would stick with 9176 if I were you.

We've also stayed in 8648 once, and 10642 3 times. 10642 is by far our FAVORITE.

  4. I'm looking to book on Fantasy for September 2016. I looked at dates and prices for this 2015 September on Fantasy for 3 adults in a cat 5A deck with verandah so I could compare prices. I just got prices for September 2016 for Fantasy cat 9B oceanview and it would be cheaper and better stateroom(IMO) for me to book September 2015.

I've always heard if you booking on opening release dates it's cheaper-I'm a little disappointed :-(

  5. I'm doing a B2B in September. I have booked jet skis for CC on our first visit. I don't want to take a chance, risk bad weather, and not get to do them. So my question is if I book jet skis for the second of our B2B, and get to do them on the first part of the B2B can I cancel the second booking of them without being penalized?

  6. I have not been on the Fantasy, but have been on the Dream 2 times, and getting ready to book our 3rd and 4th.

Disney is top notch, and I think your kids would have a BLAST. There are SO many on board activities to do, and the kids club(from what I hear-I have no children) our out of this world. CC is also AMAZING-so fun, and so beautiful.

I don't think you would go wrong going with Disney. I have only cruised Disney, and LOVE it so much that it's all I will cruise.

  7. Thank you all for the information!!

We are still trying to decide on if we want to do a B2B or if we just want to do a 7 night. We have already been to Nassau twice, and to me once you've seen Nassau you really don't need to see it again. I do like the fact that we would have 2 days at Castaway Cay. However, doing a 7 night would take us somewhere we've never been, and I like the idea of that too. Also, we've been on the Dream twice, and I would kinda like to see the Fantasy. Price wise it's only about a $72 difference in doing a B2B, and a 7 night. So I guess we just need to make a list of pros and cons, and decide that way.

  8. We are talking about booking a back to back on Dream to the Bahamas. I think we have decided on doing the 4 night then 3 night. My question is do we actually have to disembark the ship after the 4 night or can we stay on? If we have to disembark do we have to take our luggage with us since we will be in the same stateroom?
