Thx for the advice.  We are leaning toward Oceania as well.  Would your opinion change if we substituted Silver Nova for Silver Muse?   Also:   post Covid have both cruise lines ( Seabourn as well) lost some of their panache due to staff cutbacks and the bean counters at corporate?  Your thoughts appreciated.

Would appreciate opinions re choosing which ship.  Similar itinerary and similar accomodations (Oceania PH and similar sized cabin on Silver Muse) and similar cost since we  don’t drink much alcohol. We have sailed both lines pre Covid but the reviews recently on Silverseas have been generally downbeat with the new emphasis on cutting quality and raising prices.

This cabin is right near the elevators. Is it quiet or is there extra noise from the elevators?   Just booked Singapore to Dubai.  Thanks for your help.

Am considering Oct 8, 2020 Dublin to Barcelona on a soon to be refurbished Nautica.  The PH1-3 cabins are only 322 square feel (?including the balcony).  The increase in price is about $3000 over a veranda cabin.  Would someone please give their opinion re: the value of a PH 1-3 cabin vrs. the smaller verandas.  I realize this is a personal value choice but it seems to be a lot of $ for the increase in square footage.  Also we have sailed on the larger Riviera and got an upsale offer to a PH cabin.  Any chance on the smaller Nautica?  Thanks for your input.

Why would Oceania schedule the one day port visit to Bilbao on a Monday when the Guggenheim Museum is closed? Makes no sense.  Nautica  in October. 

The grandsons will be four and five years old if it matters in choosing the ship.  Our son and daughter have been to Alaska several times but their spouses have not.Thanks for the pearls of knowledge.  Please add any other relevant info.  Also suggestions for  hotels the night before and after the cruise would be appreciated.

All three ships have 5 star ratings on c c. Similar costs and all depart from Seattle.  This would be a multigenerational  family cruise with passengers from one to 72 years of age..  Advice appreciated.

Multi generation cruise to Alaska:  Any preference among these three ships?  Itineraries are very similar. All depart from Seattle which is easily reached from all western cities.  Similar costs as well.  Advice appreciated.

My wife and I are booked on Silver Spirit 5730 Monte Carlo to Barcelona. I haven't figured out how to check on what excursions are available for this voyage. When I go to MY Silversea and click Excursions I get the message about them being available to book 90-120 days before departure. I understand that I can't book them but where is the list from which I may eventually choose?

Seven years seems like a long time. Recent Spirit voyagers, does that seem correct? Anyone on board currently, please fill let us know the answer direct from the crew. Thanks.

This voyage has been scrapped (per Silverseas rep this am) because of a four day charter.

My wife and I are considering the April22, 2017 (5709) cruise from Barcelona to Rome on Silver Spirit. I realize that some of the reviews can emphasize the negative but thoughts of shabby and stained staterooms and less than stellar service make me wonder if we should just take a pass on this ship and perhaps Silversea altogether. We have previously sailed happily on Shadow in Asia, but serveral years ago. What guidance can recent cruisers offer? Thanks for your input.
