  1. Hi I am interested in more info for the 2019 80s Cruise aboard the Celebrity (March 2- March 9, 2019).

The pricing on their web site tells me its $2-3K per person for staterooms - is this accurate? I thought the pricing was for per stateroom, not based on a "per person" rate.

  2. I too would like to know how these groups can book without an adult in each cabin? I have been on a cruise when there was a VERY large Quinceanera group. It was our only cruise where we couldn't wait for it to end. They seemed to take over areas and act like they were the only ones on the ship. I won't even go into the lack of manners.

Is it possible they do use adults to book but when it comes time to actually sleep in the rooms, all of them switch rooms once on board? I agree it is very distracting, our last cruise had a lot of 15 yr old teenagers from Brazil and they took over all of Coco Cay that we had to move our seats several times to find a quiet spot. :o

  3. Thanks for the suggestions! keep em coming. My mom and her friend are in their mid to late 60s - so they'd def want some privacy, peace and quiet at times. They def want to see a lot so the cruise idea seems to be best suggestion I've given them. Are there any options for leaving from NY or NJ or are these ships all leaving from Ft Lauderdale/Miami area? We'd also have to factor in flights from NY to FL which is a pain in the xxx.

  4. Hi fellow cruisers!

My mom has never cruised before and asked me, (who has only done 2 cruises), to find a good cruise that we can all enjoy - it would be me, my husband, my mom and her friend. -we are looking to go sometime in August or Sept of this year (yes I know, short notice!).Ideally looking at Caribbean ports, from 5-7 days and it must include a few spots at different islands since she likes to browse, shop and walk around.

Any ideas on which itineraries would work? I havent really been up to speed on whats out there and could use a head start other than just looking at RCCL's web site.

    Thanks!
