  1. Thanks so much! I'm not a big snorkel aficionado, but my travel partner wants to see some fish. I'm more of a go explore and take killer pictures while learning about the place I'm visiting kind of person. So, for a first-time snorkeler, I think Cozumel may be sufficiently awe-inspiring for her. 🙂 lol

  2. Help me decide? I'd like to get off the beaten path and go on the Cozumel Bar Hop to see the east side of the island. I would also like to snorkel (too much?)  Our boat is in port from noon until 10pm. How do I fit in both activities? Should I go straight to the Bar Hop, get back downtown around 5-ish and maybe go over to Money Bar for some snorkeling and dinner? Sunset is supposed to be at 7:30.

Or should I snorkel first (Mystic Snorkel?) and then attempt to see the east side another way?

I'd really like to stay away from the "stand-in-line, wait-to-have-fun" kind of excursion.  Thanks for the help, all!

  3. I will be stopping in KW from 7:30a-1:00p on a Tuesday in June with my best friend who has never been there before. I loved it the first time and I’d like to give her the best feel for the town.

I’m planning on taking the Conch train first thing, but before we leave I’d like some recommendations for:

    - great places to take pics (is there an ideal Instagram-worthy street? A bright color house we could pose in front of and not piss off owners? Or somewhere that won’t be crawling with cruise ship guests? I don’t want to wait in a long like at the southernmost buoy, necessarily)

    - grab and go conch fritters? We would like to walk and eat

    - a bar with A/C, key lime martini, and people watching (yep, I’m totally cool with drinking by 10am. Do bars open that early in KW?)

    thanks!
