I had the same problem
if you ring P&O it dept they rill sort it out, takes about 30 seconds

I booked this cruise in August last year balcony GE grade on Getaway price.
In November the price was reduced by a staggering £1000.I posted this on cruise critic at the time and complained to p&o by email and phone and was told that my case had been logged into case management system.
I have now been given an upgrade to GA cabin on Lido deck (welcome news)
Would I have been given this upgrade if I had not complained ?
Has anybody had any experience of these cabins as I understand that the balcony is part under shade

Thank you for all for your replies, much appreciated, it has opened my eyes to booking a future cruise, I wonder, if every one decided to book 6 to 8 weeks before departure, how would this affect P&O cash flow ie do we sail or do we not.
I ask another question, I booked this cruise In august at GE grade, on looking at the deck plans I see that there are only 2 cabins in this grade, so how can P&O keep selling the last cabin at a reduction of £1000

I booked a cruise on the ventura in august N402 departing 17 jan 2914,total price paid £4098.In November I received an email from p&o with various offers.
one of these being N402 same date same cabin grade for £3098, a staggering £1000 reduction.
I phoned p&o and was told to send an email, this I did and the reply i was informed that they could do nothing about this and it was their policy to reduce prices when required.
I urge p&o clients to check what they paid and what the latest price is as you may be surprised.
Any replies or advice would be appreciated
