  1. I know this has been answered before, but I for the life of me cannot find the thread.

I just found out that my departure time from Miami airport has been changed in September.

How early, is the earliest, flight that I can make if I do a self departure and walk off my own luggage?

I know the airport is fairly close to the cruiseport.

If I have to change the flight, the next earliest flight I could get home is at 5pm.....that's a lot of time to do nothing!

    Thank you in advance.

  2. I am the manager for a Home therapy program....the largest in my state.

I do agree with Princess in this instance.

IF by chance the ship became quarantined --and you only had enough cases of dialysate for the week...what in the world would you do?  what if you developed peritonitis, fluid overload, etc, etc.

In a "normal" world getting supplies to you wouldn't be an issue, but in the Covid world, it very likely could.

I understand it is frustrating, it is for me too--just in a different way.

Anyone can order off the Kid's menu (available in main dining, specialty restaurants)  - the Volcano Sundae and Cruise Chips (ice cream and cookies, often assembled as an ice cream sandwich) are fantastic.

Carnival Corp Stockholders (own 100 shares or more) are eligible for OBC on Princess cruises, anywhere from $50-250 depending on length of cruise.

Military Veterans are eligible for OBC from Princess.

Princess allows you to "stack" OBC, you could have Stockholders, veterans, from TA, etc all on your booking.

Pub Lunch (serves anywhere from once to a couple times a cruise in a specialty venue) is free of charge..

Can someone tell me how to ge the OBC for owning 100 shares?  I was one of "those" that did buy the stock when it was supppppper low.

  4. We will be doing a liveaboard prior to going to Sydney in March.

We will be needing a hotel one night prior to liveaboard and one night after liveaboard.

First trip to Australia, I know nothing about the area. We are going through Reef Encounter.

Can someone recommend a nice hotel. Looking for a reasonable price (around $150 USD/night) and something that is not too far from the airport or the departure site.

I've looked at the threads, but not sure exactly what I am looking for.

    Any help is much appreciated!

  5. [Gordo,

I would love any info you could give me about this liveaboard. I am booked with them 3/2018.

I'm having a hard time with hotels, because I don't know anything about the area.

Is there someplace you would recommend?

I am in the same predicament as you, needing to stay a day before and after the GBR due to flights to Sydney.

Did you check out of the hotel, or just book consecutive nights?

    Any help is much appreciated!

  6. Hi,

I have searched the message boards, but the info seems to be really dated.

I would like to go to Disneyland when in Hong Kong port, we are in port 7am-6pm.

Is it feasible to get there?

    The cheapest transportation?

    The fastest transportation?

    Thanks in advance!
