What a fun night! We were under a tornado warning for over 2 hours. At one point, there were two tornados within 20 minutes from my house. With the closes being a “dangerous, violent tornado” 10ish miles away. It was observed to be a half mile wide and then rain wrapped. It was headed for Chattanooga, I can see Chatty from my house, but then hooked north and back west and dissipated. We were sheltered for an hour because it was moving at 10 mph. Slowest. Tornado. Ever. Winds at 160 mph. 

Wow that's really scary. Thankfully we just ended up having some thunder storms .

Following along! We are are the same ship/itinerary in October. We were on the Horizon last year and went to Aruba and Curacao, and loved both stops. Now looking forward to Bonaire.

Sorry it doesn't say on their website but they absolutely DO. We just used it on Feb 23rd from the hotel to the POM. We signed up for it the night we checked into the hotel and chose our departure time for the next morning.

 

 

Do you remember what times the shuttle is to the POM?

5:00 came early, ugh I do not like getting up in the mornings! I got all the critters taken care of and took off to mum’s about 5:47. KatiePuff made me feel soooo guilty, mewing and purring and batting at my legs. 😔 I promised her I’d be home in 9 days to snuggle her. 
 

Fed the ponies their breakfast and we were off by 6:26! We just crossed the SC border. Hopefully this trip will be less eventful than the last!

I'm hoping...no praying that doesn't happen. If they would have just put it on the ballot under two  separate issues (Royals moving downtown, and upgrade Arrowhead), the voters would have supported upgrading Arrowhead. But John Sherman (the Royals owner) is being shifty about the whole thing. And if they would of been more up front and honest with the citizens in that area and the people of KC it MIGHT of passed. They weren't adding any parking. Traffic is bad enough during rush hour. Then we have the T-Mobile arena and a convention center withing blocks of where they want to put a stadium. Let's just say it would of been a nightmare.

Beachside Hotel in Cocoa Beach has fly, snooze and cruise packages. It might be worth looking into.

Until 3 grown men started to fire military grade weapons into a crowd and shot 9 kids. Why? Who knows. Like as a country, are we gonna ban mass community gatherings before we ban assault weapons? Probably. I'm just so sick of having to have these discussions with them. 

I completely agree with you! The Mayor said this morning that there could be possible changes for any parades going forward. Which is completely sad.

This is very sad day for Kansas City. My kids/grandkids were there yesterday. Luckily they were on the other side of Union Station. But still just upsetting that this happened. This is not how KC is!

Looking for a decent (In a good area) hotel near the airport, within walking distance to restaurants/bars. Would be a bonus if it has free breakfast. I have looked Marriotts but the reviews are not good at all. Would like personal, recent experience from someone. 

Six pages in and I'm all caught up...whew! Can't wait to read about your cruise. Have a great time.
