We booked an interior spa stateroom on the Dream last April after I had purchased a one day pass on our last trip on her. We loved the spa! The thalassotherapy pool is amazing and the thermal suites are great too! We also paid a reduced rate for the mud room because we were in a spa stateroom. We loved it all so much we are currently booked on the Dream relocation voyage in April.
Do you mind me asking what the reduced rate for the mud room was?

We booked a spa oceanview room on the Breeze and have since heard they can be noisy. Does anyone have experience with this? They're under the gym but we figured that'd be ok at night. Trying to decide if we should keep it or pay the extra for the balcony. The only thing swaying us right now is the size of the room. It appears to be a lot bigger.
For our upcoming cruise on the Breeze I originally had an inside spa and saw that the OV was a great price and called to upgrade. My PVP stopped me saying that the spa OV's were the worst cabins, that basically they will be the last to fill and are the ones people get "stuck" with. IMO - If you have the opportunity to upgrade to the balcony, do it.

Hold out for a free upgrade!
I can dream, right?! I would be over the moon if I got a free upgrade!
I'd be happy with the upsell offer, though. The category right above me has hardly sold and my category is sold out. I'm hoping they'll call back. *fingers crossed!*
-
It was probably a bad deal anyways.
True...but it wouldn't take much to convince me to upgrade. :D
-
I missed it! I called right back and the PVP that answered confirmed that it was an upsell call. Sadly, she also said that I couldn't get transferred and I would have to wait for them to call me back. Harrumph!
I will be happy with the room we booked but I sure do hope they call back.

If we take a taxi there, I am concerned about getting back! How does that work? I've never done it that way before.
Just like you would in mainland US. You can either call a dispatcher, give your original driver a time and ask him to come back for you, or just grab a new one. When we have been there have been taxi's at the beach entrance waiting; it's their income so they know the port schedules.

Thanks for this review! I really enjoyed your pictures. I really don't feel like working today and this gave me something good to occupy my time with. ;)
What else can I do until 5 o'clock? Think I'll check out your fantasy review. :D

Haven't done the Seaweed treatment, but the Hot Stone Massage is to die for!
I looked at that one, too. Perhaps I can get both!!
We did the mud lounge on the Dream in Sept. It was $100 for two people. The spa products/mud were awesome and we had a fun and relaxing time. Well worth the price, but I thought it was interesting that even though this "treatment" was self-serve, so to speak, a gratuity was added. No worries, though. We were doing a B2B and the Cloud 9 Spa staff really rocked.I had the seaweed treatment several years ago on the Miracle. If I remember correctly, there was a seaweed wrap (with foil!), then you shower, then get a massage. It might have been a special package.
Both treatments conditioned and softened my skin. If I had to pick, I would do the mud lounge again.
Thanks so much for this information. I'm really excited for the mud room and is it strange that the foil seems exciting to me, too? I'll be like a baked potato, lol :)

Anyone had the Elemis Aroma Spa Seaweed treatment? I would love some insight before booking it. $259 for the full body /100 minutes; is it worth it?
How about the mud lounge? We looked at it when we went on the Dream but didn't give it a try since it was an added fee to the normal cloud 9 package. Any opinions on this service? I don't see it listed on the spa treatments page to add to my cart but I thought it was included on the breeze.
Thanks in advance : )

I was sooo happy to see Christopher win the L&T challenge. I can't wait to buy that dress. Now that I look though... I kinda love Mondo's too! *** with Chris March, though. I love him but, really, who would wear that?
-
Ouch! That is expensive but the dress is really beautiful!
Actually---It was on clearance and I think I only paid about $50 for it! I love cruising in the winter! :D

Posted this on the other dress thread, but seeing how I'm plus size it might benefit me more to post here.
LOVE this dress. Can't try it on b/c its online only and no returns :(. The price tag is $350:eek:.
I do love it though......what to do?
Was this at Nordstrom? I just bought a dress that looks so close to this. It was at Nordstrom on the clearance rack. The only thing that may be different is the under bust embellishment on mine is gold and this picture appears to be silver. So....try looking at Nordstrom!

Well said, Mike!

SO and I spent a fair amount of time in the T-pool while on the Dream this year. So nice! I can say---the pictures make it look bigger than it is. Nonetheless, we really enjoyed it as well as the rest of the spa and our spa stateroom.

So, so lovely!

I try to get pictures of the ship's unique areas and definitely one of the cabin.
If not used in scrapping...you know your fellow CC'rs would appreciate these when planning future cruises.
