Opinions are just that. For contrast we ate at sabatini’s on the Enchanted last month and it was great. Service was excellent. I was not happy to see its new location where the bistro used to be but was pleasantly surprised that it was not a factor in our enjoyable experience.

On Enchanted last month, no reservations for casual spots. Contrary to other reports they were pretty busy, in fact full with a wait. O’Malley’s which is a smaller space was always packed.

I was booking a cruise with my cvp yesterday. After that was done she checked two other cruises which were booked earlier. Saved $1500 on one and $700 on the other. So I was happy to save $2200 with a phone call.

Until a month ago I would have said crown grill. I am a fan and been there many times. Last month on majestic they had the new catch by Rudi so we tried it. We thought it was excellent in food, service and ambiance. Small sample size for sure, it could be my new favorite.

Ate there on Majestic last month. Really enjoyed it. As did many from our group. I consider it my new favorite of the specialty restaurants on Princess.

Last night I received a copy of my onboard folio via email. The problem is it was 3 weeks ago today that we got off the ship. Apparently it is pretty challenging for princess to even send an email!

We have done partial 3 times and full once. All were great. The canal experience is fascinating to me and well worth doing any way you can.

We were in Grand Turk last month, no one asked for anything regarding vaccinations. Not to board ship or go ashore in Grand Turk

What does it mean if website shows a cruise is currently unavailable?

I just did this Friday. Booked under promotion for free cabin upgrade, gratuities and free specialty dining. Called princess and asked about “best sale ever”. Kept everything I had and got drink package and unlimited WiFi for $700. This is $25 a day for both of us as it is a 28 day cruise. I considered it a good deal

We were on this cruise also. Just to clarify the captain stated there were under 1 percent of passengers ill so nowhere near the 250 number you referenced. Closer to 25.

We just got off the Emerald last week from Hawaii. Really enjoyed the itinerary and the ship. We have been on Emerald twice before and always had a great time. It is scheduled for dry dock in March for some updates/upgrades. Buffet is supposed to get a total redo which would be good.

Based on our experience earlier this month on Emerald to Hawaii, I would not count on any usable internet service. Streaming would have been out of the question. Most sea days couldn’t do anything. Checking email was a challenge and open any website impossible.
-
We were on the emerald the cruise before. Internet was definitely unusable. Only contact was my cell while in the islands. At see it was so slow most of the time you couldn’t get anywhere. I had free platinum package, if I had paid for internet I would have felt very ripped off.

Just took marylous tour. Excellent and she will go or not go wherever you want. All small groups. We had 4. She can do 6 easily as well. I would definitely recommend.

Government shutdown not effecting much. Pearl Harbor still operating as the navy runs the boats. Volcano national park visitor center is open. Most of the affected areas are due to last summers eruption and subsequent damage and changes caused by it. Still plenty accessible to see.

Did a Princess escorted tour of Alaska 3 years ago and it was great. Princess really has things dialed in for Alaska with great lodges, tours and transportation. We found it to be an excellent way to see a lot of Alaska without all the fuss of planning everything yourself. It was really an enjoyable stress free couple weeks. We certainly feel like the expense was worth it.

It has always worked well for us. Generally book an inexpensive balcony and end up with top category balcony. Like some others we are not real picky about location so it has worked well for us.
How quickly should your CVP call you back?

I agree with Lady Arwen above. I always get a call back within a couple hours. Usually less. Have had our planner for years and are totally satisfied.
