With our 2021 Alaska cruise canceled, we are considering doing a land tour. I have heard that Princess is planning to offer this option. using their lodges and the Alaskan Railroad. Has anyone heard anything about land tours or when they may be available to book? Are there Princess reps that specialize in Alaska? Trying to decide if I should wait for Princess to publish more information or begin planning on my own. Would like to go early June if possible.

Trying to decide on a September 2021 cruise tour (7 day cruise with 5 days land tour to Denali) or making own arrangements from Anchorage post cruise. Thoughts? Like the train component to Denali, but not too excited about the motorcoach return to Anchorage.

Looking at the rounding Australia cruise in March 2022, however Princess site indicates this sailing is sold out. Is it possible to be placed on a wait list if cabins become available?

We have really enjoyed this thread. We also leave in a little over two weeks on the same trip. Also, we are doing the TA from New York to Greenland, Iceland and Scotland on the Island Princess and leave August 8th.
We will have to plan to meet onboard!

As everyone has said, thank you so very much for the details and amazing pictures. We leave on the same trip on the Coral in a little over 2 weeks...excited and have a good idea now of what to expect and what I need to pack.
Incidentally, we are also booked on a TA from New York to Greenland, Iceland and Scotland on the Island Princess but in August, 2020. It seems like you may be taking a similar trip right before ours? What a coincidence! These 2 trips have both been on our bucket list and happy to be able to go.

Thank you so much for these posts! We will be doing same trip Jan 21. Looking forward to seeing more!
Hope you have calm seas and an enjoyable rest of your voyage!

Thank you all for great suggestions! I think we will do Montevideo DIY...happy to know there are also tasting rooms without making the trek to the wineries. We do have Patrick Watts tour booked for the Falkland Islands. So, while we have booked the Princess tour to Magdelena to see penguins in Punta Arenas, if we are able to make it to the Falkands, I am leaning towards canceling especially because of the rough seas and sea sickness warnings, but will hold on to it for now as a back up. In Ushuaia, am still debating between the Beagle Channel cruise and seeing "the end of the world".

We will be on Coral Princess in January 2020 with ports of Montevideo, Ushuaia, and Punta Arenas. Which ports are best to tour on our own and which should be seen via Princess and/or private excursions?

I contacted Princess and the rep was able to add the Princess Plus to my booking at a price of $40/pp/day. She said it requires them adding it, not able to do it online. Overall, I am quite happy with the fare and happy that they have included nurses.
