Just back from my NCL cruise... They had entire Indian station opposite the Chinese.... BUT to be fair there was plenty of american saucy over boiled crap to be offered as well...ALL the Buffet food was gross. The only thing safe was carvings, salad and bread...

Why can't people just say hey are you going to your______(favoriteplace) again this year? what are you most looking forward to. They should try and be excitied for you and understand why you love it so much.

I Must pass by the buffet breakfast lunch and dinner.....see what's going on and if I want a "sample" . Even if I have allready eatin in the DR. Bad habit...sometimes after dinner just to see if there is anything better for dessert...:o

I really like my own meatballs and sauce so whenever we go away I always leave a frozen meal in the freezer. Then we just thaw it out, boil some pasta and have a nice easy meal.

Yep!! Thats what I do...good homemade meatballs and sauce...Very easy just heat up.

I find it extremely hard to believe that there was nothing but Indian food for four days.

Believe it or not ..its the truth. Didn't try room service. I think there was macaroni salad too.

It is not nasty or yucky or any of the other terms used- you just don't like it. (Yes, mother- I beat this into my kids heads all the time- so just because you don't like it doesn't make it bad). Anyway, I think one reason it is on a lot of ships is because often the head chef is Indian. And it is one of the most respected cuisines world wide. As noted- you certainly won't go hungry if you don't like Indian food- there are plenty of other dishes to chose.

My main complaint was NO -There was NOT other choices on this perticular trip....Indian food for Lunch the last 4 days at the buffet. By the time we returned to the ship MD was closed....Did not see a burger. Indian Food...there was indian food. I'm not saying this happens all the time But someone was pure lazy this trip...

BTW would have felt the same way if the had something I liked for 4 days.

Just goes to show how the taste of food is subjective. People rave about the burgers on the outdoor grills and I always see lots of people eating them but they are hockey pucks to me.:D

It just looks sloppy....and I do like ethnic foods not just Italian (LOL)... Love thai ! I really don't like curry and indian food just seems like melted mush with curry on it.:eek: I live in NY and have all the finest ethnic food available to me..as well as indian friends...just can't eat the food...or be in a home for that long where it is being prepared.

So...There is more for you to enjoy. please just don't make me eat it 4 out 5 days:mad:

I'm a little stuck on NCL when they serve the indian food because there burgers suck too. What do they soak them in ???

I'm NOT joking when I tell you I was on a 5 day Carnival cruise that served the SAME indian food for 4 days during lunch....NOT joking. and it was the buffet near the pool?

Anything with curry..it even smells nasty. I don't wan to even see that mushy golden mess. keep it away fro me..and DON'T even dedicate a whole night in MD for it. EWW.

What is it with the Indian food on the buffets? Our last cruise had it on the tables for lunch almost everyday. Sorry It's nasty ! We were on Carnival for 5 days. I can understand one day. But 4 out of 5 Come on! And it looks like NCL also has it on there buffet. I just can't take another cruise filled with Curry ...I hope they don't serve in morning noon and night.

Am I the only one who doesn't like it ??

Please tell me I will only see it 1 day on my next trip? (ncl-jewel)
