  1. That other website just doesn't update availability on their deck plans.

But if someone tried to book your cabin they would eventually be instructed to choose another one from a list of available ones in the same category. Possibly not until they drilled down all the way to the deposit/payment screen. That way they feel "committed" and won't exit and restart their cabin search again (possibly choosing a less expensive cabin category).

Thanks for every ones reply now I understand. We booked this cruise about 5 months ago and yes we do have a room # and all that .Everyone have a good day and cruise on:)

  2. I'm astonished that so many posters are blaming the guest (customer). How the guest services person handled the situation was irresponsible. This situation should (must) be called to the attention of the guest services manager so that anyone else in similar circumstances is not given the brushoff. Despite the hours posted for the medical staff, there is always someone on duty. Guest services should have contacted them for assistance. I hope this goes up the chain of command at Celebrity and that appropriate training is provided to staff in the likely event of future situations, perhaps involving a passenger with a more serious injury or illness.

I agree all this over a little band its not like she was having a heart attack or something was she in danger of bleeding to death if a little band aid was all she needed put apaper towel on it or something people need to start watching out for themselves.

  3. MY wife and I have booked a cruise with princess on an online booking service. We booked way early so we would have are chose of the stateroom we wanted which we did get.Now I go to another online booking service and it shows are room is still available when we look on the Princess web site it shows it as unavailable just curious why one web site would still show it as available?

  4. From what I can tell, no. You're a good distance aft from the skywalk.

The skywalk on Regal is an area of the lido deck that cantilevers out from the side of the ship.

Thank you for your reply I thought it was a little aft also but my wife was wondering have a nice day

  5. Maybe I'm wrong but, Regal Princess(?) docks @ Grand Cayman April 12th

    Arriving Date: Apr 12 2018 7:00AM

    Leaving Date: Apr 12 2018 4:00PM

If your excursion vendor cannot find the ship, maybe you should try one that can.

  7. Born and raised in Oregon lived in Astoria for 5 years in my younger days I would agree with renting a car. I would not imagine there would be a lot around the cruise port, Cannon beach would be nice There is the Maritime musiem, Fort Clatsop where Lewis and Clark winteredand:) the Astor colum But don't bother to go to Tillamook unless you want to watch them make cheese and see a bunch of cows standing around.:)

  8. If your not going to be hanging around in the hotel a lot it is worth it to check out the circle hotel it is not the fanciest but it is nice right across the street from the beach and not very expensive
