We did this excursion through Carnival in Feb of 2022.  It was really fun.  The party cruise is just a short ride to the falls but on the way back they serve all drinks (all you want) and our got crazy in a good way.  Everyone just had a good time.  

As far as other stuff to do at the falls.  I don't think you could stay on the boat but that would be boring anyway.  You can actually walk up the falls on land beside those in your party.  There are also a couple of other sight seeing things there, but you are on a pretty tight timeline so they would have to be mindful of that.  There is also a small beach area but not really anything going on there.  I don't think they had any chairs to rent or anything but I could be mistaken.  

I have a similar concern, as we are just getting over covid but supposed to sail in 10 days.  I'm concerned that we won't even be able to answer the questionnaire about symptoms within the past 14 days.  We have a message into our PVP now to just wee if we should just reschedule.  Does anyone have specific experience with this scenario?  Obviously if we still test positive it's a mute point.

We are thinking about booking this tour for an upcoming trip we have with a stop in Nassau.  Can anyone share their experience and recommendations?  Anything else helpful for Nassau in general would be great too.

Rather than logging into your Cruise Manager, just go to the Carnival home page as a Guest. 

Choose MANAGE, then IN-ROOM GIFTS, then FOOD & BEVERAGE.

You can then browse all those full categories, and if you choose to make a purchase, just log into your own account from that page. 

It worked for me once when I was having challenges getting it to populate when logged into my account.

Doing some research and just did this!

I hope they dip down further in the gene pool with this offer.  Currently, I am only getting the drinks free while in the casino.  I generally buy the cheers package so it's not much of a benefit.  This would be enough for me to book in October.  We've been waiting because I just have my doubts that they are going to actually sail.

No.  In fact we have gotten around by cheers for two adults by splitting the adults and kids in each room, i.e. 1 adult and 1 child in each room.  Therefore, if one adult is not a big drinker you aren't forced to buy two Cheers packages

I find this hard to believe, but if it is correct it dispels the whole notion about only being able to get 15 drinks.

You can't buy beers by the bucket either with Cheers.  You have to buy them individually, one at a time...5 minutes in between purchases.

Perhaps I can contribute more then, but I did sail on her sister ship the sunshine last year and it was fine.  My opinion is that there is way to much made of the particular ship.  If you intend on having a good time, you will! There are always going to be things that maybe you don't care for, but I focus on what I do like and always have fun!

Here's one I found, but I remember seeing a much better one a year or two ago.

I know this may not be the exact proper place for this post, but we are sailing on Carnival Sunrise in 11 days!  From Fort Lauderdale to Grand Turk and Amber Cove.

Somewhere here in the past there have been links to weather sites with temps, winds and sea levels.  Hoping someone can help as the waters and winds  can be rough this time of year.

Been there...you are cut off.  When you start drinking at 10am on a sea day it is very doable especially if you are a beer drinker. They generally tell you once you get to 12, 13 or 14 that you are getting close.  There are always ways around the rules.  In this case I have given the money to someone else to buy the drink for me.

Yes, you have to download the Carnival Hub app before boarding.

You can also download free apps to your phone that provide white noise.  I use mine every night whether I'm at home, in a hotel or on a cruise ship.  I use mine simply because I'm a light sleeper and it drowns out all the other little sounds that would otherwise wake me up.  The one I use is simply called the bed time fan...its a simple fan noise, but there are dozens of them with all kinds of different sounds.

Not for me.  I do have some new offers, but they are not that great.  The cost of the one I'm looking at went up because I think a better offer I had expired.  I'm looking at the Panorama inn October.

Thanks Jim.  I knew that, but someone posted that on their cruise they were treating the aft pool as if it were an adult pool.  I had never heard of that (nor what it really meant, like were there signs or something) and was trying to confirm the validity.  It looks like this will be a nice area regardless.

For anyone that has recently been on the Sunrise, were they treating the aft pool as adults only?

Okay, thank you.  I have FTTF out of Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale in a few weeks.  I want to get on asap obviously, but I also don't want to get there to sit around for an hour.
