  1. We are arriving in Barcelona on the Eurodam on a Sunday morning, and flying out that evening at 8:25 pm. We have arranged to take the ship transfer to the airport, thinking we will leave our luggage at the terminal. The question is what to do with the rest of the day, and what time will we need to be back? We will be flying to Paris, spending the night at the Paris airport before heading back to the states. Should we rent a car? Is it very difficult to find parking in Barcelona? Any help would be appreciated!

  2. Thank you for the information. We have purchased a veranda "guarantee" and received our room last night and it is a spa veranda. The biggest question, I suppose, is how much would we use a regular balcony on a transatlantic sailing in March/April? Thank you all for your info. and help.

  3. Campolady, I have been reading your posts on Malaga. We are going to be there on April 7, 2016, and wish to see the Gibralfaro castle, Alcazaba, The Roman Ruins, the Ataranzas market, and visit Calle Larios. We are in port from 7 am to 5 pm. Do you have any suggestions on the best way to see these? Any particular order, so that we don't get there when things are closed? Any help is very much appreciated!

  4. From the research, the only car rental places available are at the airport, and it looks like a $30 taxi ride each way. Totally bummed.

I haven't been able to find a private tour guide either. Can't find any recommendations anywhere.

  5. We are going to be in Martinique on a sunday. We were hoping to find a private tour guide who would take us to our church, then come back and show us around the island. I haven't been able to find any references to private tour guides. Help!

  6. We are going to be in Matinique on a Sunday, coming in on the Holland America Oosterdam on Dec. 12. We would like to attend our church there, and need a car rental. Can a car be rented at the cruise terminal? If not, are they within walking distance?

  7. Thanks for the suggestions. Stoute's no longer operates the kiosk at the pier, it is now run by Courtesy Car. I contacted Courtesy and they are sold out for the day that we will be in Barbados. After a little more research, I found Coconut Car Rentals and have booked a car through them. They are going to pick me up at the pier and drive me to their office which is 5 minutes away. I will try to remember to report back about my experience with them.

I was hoping to find your report. We are thinking about renting a car, and would like to know how it went for you.
