Has anyone danced in any of the lounges on Sky Princess? Or is there a place to dance?

there is now a 15 drink per person per day limit

New policy.......the unlimited alcoholic drink package now has a 15 drink limit per person per day. Given that is a LOT of drinks, but still there is now a limit.

Booked a trip to Hawaii from San Fran on the Grand next April. Generally how are the seas that time of year....4 days at sea each way.....balcony weather?

we are disembarking early in Barcelona and were thinking of staying two extra days. Question? What would someone recommend in the way of hotels. Any recomendations on where to stay and what to do? We would be flying out so I would think stay somewhere near the airport, also how far is it from the dock to the airport. is Taxi the best way to get around?

We are on Emerald in a few weeks and hoping to do some dancing, ballroom / Latin. Where is the best dance floor and what times, we are on the 8.15 sitting for dinner.

we found the explorers lounge to be nice before and after dinner (we had the 6pm assigned) Then would go to the then off to club fusion, the biggest dance floor. The to skywalkers later. All three have different kinds of bands, it depends on the cruise your on who is booked. there is also some dancing sometimes at explorers lounge depending on what is scheduled. If you like to dance I am sure you will find one of them you will like.

Anyone have first hand comparisons Princess to Celebrity?

we are contemplating a TA with Celebrity (Equinox) next spring. We just did A TA with Princess Emerald last month. We liked the dancing venues on Emerald, not sure what Equinox has to offer in the way of dancing.

Thinking of trying the Equinox for a transantlantic next April. Does this ship have dancing at the different lounges. If so, what kind ......are there any dance floors for say some pattern dancing, west coast swing, country two step, cha cha etc? We were on Princess this April on a TA and loved that they had three different areas to dance with different kinds of music. The evenings at sea are great for night life!! We have never sailed Celebrity before, so have no idea what to espect.

No she is not SHABBY at all. We just returned from the transatlantic on her and had a wonderful time! We were on her a few years ago and she just looked a little fresher is all. Just wondered how often they do that. (Freshen her up). We had a GREAT time and the crew was the friendliest we have encountered on our three trips with Princess, (one on Sea Princess). The events director was a hoot!

In fact we booked another Transatlantic on her for next spring as well, and it sounds like she WILL be freshened up!!!!

Does anyone know when the Emerald is going to be spruced up again?

Do I need to keep my passport with me at all times when disembarking at the different ports?

This horse has probably been beat to death, but I will ask anyway. We are cruising from the US to azores,ireland,belgium,france and england with Princess. What is the best way to get Euros....on the ship, or at home before we leave. Then can we convert back to US from Euros on the ship? Is there a fee? Thoughts??

Noticing the square foot listed for Caribe BD (Mid Section) says 271 SqFT

Caribe B2 (AFT) says 231 to 271 Sq Ft. Looks the same size in floor plan, so why would some B2 be only 231 Sq Ft? Are they indeed the same size. We have BD703 booked. We have stayed in Caribe mid ship before.

We have paid in full, 70 days till cruise, we have printed our boarding pass. My question is does Princess ever offer free up-grades after the boarding passes are available for printing?

Are there any wall outlets in the staterooms on the Emerald for things like i-pads and plugging in chargers etc?

Does the Emerald have music channels on the TV, and if they do is it streaming all the time or just at ports?

Can you still get free stuffed olive boats at the bars on Emerald?

Do the balcony rooms on the emerald have flat panel tv's? DVD players, I-pod connections?
