My cruise is coming up on April 30th and the prices on the cabanas were outrageous until a few days ago, it finally dropped to more reasonable prices. I just booked a cabana for $399. So I would check on the prices when you are about 60 days out from your cruise to see if the prices drop on the bungalow because it is showing $297 for my cruise. You can rebook at the new price & cancel the original booking to get the refund. Good luck & hope the prices drop closer to your cruise date.😊

I’m sorry that you had a time getting home but glad you made it home safely! I love seeing the pics of your fur babies. I have 3 cats myself and they are always happy when I come home from vacations.

I enjoyed reading your review! I love the Sunshine but haven’t been on her since 2016. I hope they get some of the repairs fix quickly! Charleston is an easy drive for me since I live just 3 hours away and  I’m so sad that Carnival will be wrapping up at the end of 2024 there. Now I’m going to go find your Vista review!

I’m catching up on your older reviews from the last couple years since I haven’t been on this site much because of not being able to cruise with the pandemic but getting back to it in April!

I had to laugh when you were talking about South of the Border being a tourist trap because it is truly a dump. I‘m from upstate SC so went there one time as a child in 1989 & it wasn’t busy back then so it is a wonder that they have stay in business all these years.
 

I’m hearing impaired myself so can relate to Patti on being a visual person. I love that the IMAX have closed captioned. Thank you guys for doing these reviews since I know that take a lot of time to put them together.

Thank you for this post! I had a Mediterranean cruise booked for October 3rd but was planning on taking the FCC until I read this post. I emailed my TA today and requested a full refund since the protocols has changed since booking this cruise almost 2 years ago. She just emailed me that the money will be fully refunded within 45 days back to my cc. We really don’t want to cruise for the next couple years with my husband’s health issue so was happy to be able to get the refund over the FCC.

Thank you for the review and the fabulous photos of Cuba.  I felt like I was right there with you!  Hopefully one day I will get to visit Cuba but for now planning a cruise to the Mediterranean and off to read a couple of your reviews on those. 

Thank you for posting this review! I'm trying to plan for a Mediterranean cruise in the fall with my parents and deciding which itinerary I want to go with.  Your photos of Greece is gorgeous and now making me lean more for the itinerary with more stops in Greece!  😊

I was looking at a Mediterranean cruise on Allure in May 2020 out of Barcelona but after doing a little research, realized she will be coming out of dry dock so nervous about booking that month now.  Especially since I'm taking my parents on their first cruise ever and want it to go well! I thought maybe the May 31st cruise since it will be the 4th cruise since dry dock but now thinking maybe I should wait until September just to be safe in case the dry dock run behind. Any thoughts on this from anyone that has experience cruising right after dry dock?

It has been awhile since I've been on CC boards so catching up on some of the reviews from some of my favorite reviewers. Charleston is my home port and loved seeing the photos. You and Patti did well covering some of the area for a few hours but still a lot more to check out if you visit again in the future.🙂 Hate that you guys missed Bermuda but looks like you got another cruise planned there.  Also enjoyed the New England/Canada cruise part of your review.  That cruise and Bermuda are on my list of where I need to cruise to next in the future!  Thanks again for doing these reviews!
