  1. Yes, I emailed them with questions. We are taking our own setups and hoping for clear waters that day but I read there's not to much to see close to these beaches/resorts.

It'll be great to spend the day there n enjoy the water anyway

  2. Hi guys :) I love this thread :D it's our 2nd time to Cozumel. The first time was spent on a horrible tour with ATVs, but we did have a great time learning how to snorkel at the end.

We picked Nachi this time to relax n def love the 100 person limit. There's enough noise n hustle n bustle on the cruise ship I'd rather stay somewhere peaceful for the day ;) I started to doubt our choice after another person posted on the roll call "Are you really going to eat $55 worth of food?" But def I also want to enjoy a great beach, a few drinks also and a safe taxi ride back to the ship. We're on vacation...Live a lil ;D We will be there now in July, woohoo

  3. The task of ironing cruise clothes is almost completed:). It's safe to say the outfits I've put together will make the cut and get to go on a nice cruise:cool:.

For evening's I have a couple Bolero-style cardigans and 2 wraps for formal night. That should keep me warm in the air conditioning!

Exercise: is part of a fashonista's routine (Note: I didn't say daily routine...). I've always worked out in the evening but this morning on Good Morning America, Dr. Oz suggested exercising before breakfast, saying that way you burn fat and not calories already taken in for the day.

Well, the reason I workout at all is to keep the fat under control - so starting tomorrow, I will attempt 10-15 minutes of aerobics before breakfast:eek: - even before coffee:eek::eek:!

Do you workout? Daily? I admire the dedication, but several times a week is all I end up doing...

Vacations are the only time I workout for. I wish I did it yearly, not wait for a reason to drop 5 lbs. oh well, so the crunch started last month. Elliptical and weights, I get exercises off of Women's Health and Shape Magazine to mix in. I know I'll never be the size I was in my twenties, but it makes a lil room for wonderful dinners and extra adult beverages I don't normally have at home :)

  4. our turn: I'm happy to hear that you have a son who cares about how he looks! My boys did, too; but generally, they liked what I chose (at least until they were in their early teens)

The upgrade was a great deal! Worth it just for the amenities and pampering. Please come back here to give a report & post photos.

I've never used the spa but friends love the massages and mani/pedis. (I would rather spend the $$ on clothes & wine;)).

Speaking of clothes, here's another outfit - one for a casual dinner. I bought the cami & Bolero at Nordstrom's before The First Cruise and have worn it w/ several different bottoms. I like sleeves in the dining room where the temp is usually too cool for me. But if we dance later, it's nice to take the Bolero off.

    Such a cute outfit!

  5. I also have 43 days to wait. Which isn't too bad considering when I started a counter on Princess the wait was 118 days.

I do have to take my formal dress and two casual dresses to be altered. One of the casual dresses won't make the cut. I'm 5'4" so petite fits small and regular always hits below the knees so it looks boring n big. I'm still picking up little things here and there for the trip so I don't feel rushed the last minute.

But still in a way I envy those that have 20 or so days left ;)

  6. I have all of my clothes in my spare bedroom sorted by outfit. I also love shoes, so it is very hard for me to downsize that portion of my wardrobe. I usually end up bringing 2 flip flops (bronze and black), 3 sandals (brown, black, white), and 2 wedges (black and white).

These are just the outfits I've put together so far (no pics, sorry). We are going to be traveling for 10 days total including our 7-day cruise, so I have a few more outfits to pick out.

Black sateen cuffed shorts + silk sleeveless multi-color U-neck top + black wedges (or purple/black sequin sleeveless top)

White sateen cuffed shorts + red one-shoulder top + white wedges (or yellow lace tank)

Dark rinse denim shorts (dressier) + fuschia sleeveless top + black wedges (or draped teal sleeveless top)

Fuschia ruffle tiered skirt + strapless black top + black wedges or sandals

Purple twirly-style skirt + lilac tank + black or silver sandals

Blue twirly-style skirt + white lace tank + white sandals

How fun!!! You're getting me excited to start packing. 50 days to go for my husband and I. I feel like I might stick another outfit in there. I'm not sure about this weight limit issue. I haven't flown since 2001. But all these outfits sound great. Good luck n enjoy your vacation :)
