Need a little advice for canal day. If I take an excursion other than a full transit excursion of the locks ( I don't think I can convince DB to take that excursion) will I still have enough of a viewing of the Coral going through the locks? or will it be short lived? I do plan on taking getting off the ship and taking some type of excursion that won't be a full day. Thanks

Keeping fingers crossed that partial Panama Canal is included. Have to cancel the one I have booked for March and want to reschedule for November. Going to wait a bit to notify my TA just in case. Would love to get some of those promotions, my March 16th sailing does not have any promos

Hello, wondering which deck the main check in is for the Santuary??? Thanks!

We also were on the March 22nd sailing in cabin E729. We had soot everyday in varying degrees. Our cabin steward only cleaned it if we asked. We kept cheap flip flops from Old Navy in front of the slider and slipped them on whenever we went onto the deck and back off again just inside so we wouldn't track any into the cabin. We also put towels on the chairs. We were prepared to have soot so it didn't bother us at all. The view was spectacular.

Yes, the Ultimate drink package includes all non alcoholic drinks; bottled water, soda, mocktails, specialty and brewed coffees etc. as well as alcoholic drinks up to $10.

I will be turning 50 during our March cruise aboard the Regal. Received a general email about the promotion. I happened to check my personalizer prior to calling my TA and it was already on my account. At least I assume it's because of the 50/50 promo, it wasn't there before and my boyfriend doesn't have it.

Did you get your two credits? I didn't think they were given for an upsell. I will now have to contact Princess as a few years ago we also were offered an upsell to a suite, which we grabbed, but were never given two credits, just one

Dark & Stormy ( Goslings black rum w/ginger beer), or a Tequila Sunrise

We were in a mini on the Crown this past January. DB who is 6'3 found that he had to duck a little to be under the shower head

I wish I lived near a port!!!!!!!!!! I would be cruising every other weekend

At this point I'll settle for just becoming Elite. LOL. So close yet so far, only a few more cruises but knowing my luck the policy will change to strictly days when I'm one cruise away. (Sigh) work definitely gets in the way of my cruising life.

Yes, we never use the Princess shuttle but do take advantage of EZ Check

You can absolutely attend with him

Thanks for the great reference and thanks to everyone else for the clarifications/corrections 😄

Thank you everyone for your great suggestions! I have contacted my TA and she has been in touch with the appropriate department at Princess. The shower chair was a great idea, hadn't thought of that for the cruise just for home.
I had no problem canceling our excursions ( zip lining , horseback riding) 😓, oh well, good thing I love to read and DB loves to eat!

Thanks so much for all of your thoughts😊 I believe I will go and relax. Those knee walkers look great but since I already have a lightweight folding transport chair that I use when I take my mom out, guess I can just use that with my crutches as a backup. Of course that means that DB will have a little extra work on his part. Also I think I will check to see if there are any of those extra leg room for a fee seats left on my flights

Hello, just looking for opinions on this. Slipped and fell on ice this morning which resulted in a broken ankle. Thankfully I work for Orthopedic surgeons so I received VIP treatment. I will be non weight bearing for 6 weeks and I'm scheduled to embark the Crown in three weeks (1/25). I have Princess Platinum insurance so I can certainly cancel, but do I want to? Can anyone with experience let me know if it would be problematic getting around the ship on crutches/ transport chair? Any thoughts would be appreciated.

I've read that on the Panama Canal cruises transit day is an additional/separate cost even if booking for the week. Does anyone know the added cost for that day? Thanks
