I go with the gel for long trips with no issues
-
I wore slacks and a top and heels or a simple dress and heels. Alaska was def more casual

I'm a big fan of these Columbia pants and wore them while at an eco lodge in the Amazon.http://amzn.to/1LZ0cFY
I also have several pairs of non convertible ones that I wear around town that don't look like hiking pants. There are also some REI brand pants that I liked.
As for water I carry a Eddie Bauer or Northface backpack to hold everything so my hands are free
Bug repellent - I get eaten alive. I go with a Deet formula. I prob glowed in the dark but I didn't get bit. You can find it at REI or Amazon

I just bought this outfit and I was considering bringing it on my upcoming cruise to wear to dinner one of the non-formal nights (I have 2 cocktail dresses for those nights).
What are your thoughts on something like this for a non-formal night?
I don't like those particular shorts. and paired with the tank is too casual. However I would wear shorts to dinner that are dressed up. These are the looks that would work better unless there is a clear no shorts at all policy. However there are some skin tight short dresses that I've seen that look way less dressy than shorts

I carry this PacSafe crossbody. Holds my DSLR with a 18/200 lens, wallet, keycard, sunglasses

Hi Ladies! I'm reviving this thread again!
I'm heading to the DR with my husband in a few weeks. I want to get a weave, probably wet and wavy since I love swimming. I tend to wear wigs and ponytails, but I need a break from those for a bit. I like the idea of wearing it long...maybe a few inches past my shoulders. Any suggestions on a brand of human hair? I've visited a couple shops and I stand there with my eyes glazed over because of all the options. If I can find the hair online, even better. Help! :o:)
I've been wearing Boheyme egyptian wave. Holds a curl, can flat iron it and when wet waves. min shedding

Snow city was great for breakfast
Glacier brew house was mediocre
Moose tooth was good
Humpys not bad great for drinks

Thanks for all the replies! Know it is on nbc sports but was unsure if it was watchable on board
-
I know this is super random but would anyone happen to know what if any sports channels are on the Oosterdam? The Chicago Blackhawks are in the finals and my friend would love to be able to watch.
Thanks

Thanks for sharing on the oosterdam June 1 so looking forward to your reports. Leave Monday for a DIY portion

I was thinking of doing this as well but I'm not a very good swimmer :confused:should I pass then and let the rest of my group go and find something else

Having done NCL in Alaska and other cruises. I would not recommend them for food at all. It was just meh. I've also consistently heard from friends etc that Princess food is just average

. I have been experimenting with Miss Jessies. I absolutely love the Rapid Recovery Treatment. I was ok with the Curly Meringue and the Curly Pudding. I'm going to reorder herstuff, perhaps the Value Pack and try it again. Her products are just so expensive. If I need to slick my hair back, I use Fruit of the Earth Aloe Vera gel that you can easily find at Walmart.
Love the Rapid Recovery treatment. Just a note around xmas every year they have a Buy one get one free sale on all of the products and that is when I stock up on it.
I also like Carols daughter Hair Milk and Tui oil. Jane Carter Nourish and Shine is also good and smells like lemons.

If you are good with the flat iron this is what I do. I wash my hair in the evening and rollerset it wet and let airdry. When its dry I add a heat protectant then as I remove each roller flat iron that section (hair is natural) There is also a product called Sabino that I order on Amazon that is good with dealing with humidity. Or I use ms jessies and just go with it
I mainly wear my hair in braids though (no breakage) I don't do micros :(. Sometimes I get senagalese twists or get it braided halfway and leave it out using wet and wavy.

well it was about time for Ricky to go. He was so far off base plus that suit has been done a bunch of times before
Christien is talented but so annoying he irks me every week he has this expectant smirk on his face "Yes declare me the winner!" and looks shocked, I keep waiting for him to jump up and down screaming that he is the winner. I do want to see him make it to the end
Rami eh. I think he drapes very very well but I don't know if I want to see him in the finals. I just don't envision anything else coming from him but draped jersey or silk dresses in the entire show
If it came to three I'd want Christen, Chris, Jillian (she annoys me too) since I think you would see the most interesting collections from them
-
I'm surprised at the outcome

Team Kit/Ricky:
And then to me personally, Ricky's daywear interpretation was even sadder...
So, because Kit was team "leader", she is aufed and Ricky is safe to design another week.
Enjoy!
Ricky does keep sliding by but Kit got booted because she chose that tacky cheap fabric of the dress Ricky made. Reminded me of a shortened housedress

I'm glad Michael won fan favorite. Vincent is truly crazy I did like the clip with him flipping out about his laundry

Late seating
I eat late at home and don't get to bed earlier than midnight when at home later when on vacation (plus I don't sleep in past 8am regardless of where I am)

Question what do you do about pedis? Under normal conditions my pedis last at min 2 wks. But much less and chips when I'm in the water a lot and if I get my preferred white it yellows
