I'm curious to hear your review was I was on the Pearl at the same time. In fact I have some pictures of the Jewel as we passed. [emoji6]

Sounds good so far. We did our Seattle visit after the cruise...STILL had good weather...until about halfway home. LOL. But I'll take that any day. Can't wait for more if your review. I about have my pictures done so I will start writing mine soon too.

We found the Courtyard Seattle Sea-Tac has a Park N Cruise option. YES, they are near the airport, but they include a shuttle to OR from the cruise terminal, not both ways, so you would have to pay for another option one way. But it includes the parking for up to 14 days. It's not what I would call cheap, but it was $209 a night. But when you see what parking and the shuttle costs, it's a decent deal...at least I thought so.
I called them direct for the deal. 425-255-0300
Good luck in your planning.

I just printed one for my 8yo grandson (whom I have custody of). We are leaving in about 40 days! This may also get him some credit in School as they are studying Canada right now...and he WILL be missing some school to go on this cruise. But what better way to make his studies come alive?!!! And MUCH better than sitting in a classroom...IMHO ;)
Thank you for such a wonderful gift.

We have a large group cruising in May. A few in our group had to apply for new passports and since it was over two months away, just sent them off with no special handling. WELL, now they find they need the passports to check-in...no biggie as they will have them in time, BUT they need them to book the Amtrak tickets that the rest of us are using to get to our embarkation point in Vancouver, B.C. Aggggh. Amtrak will NOT let us book the train until they have the passports...REALLY??? I can book a flight without one, but have to show it before I get on the plane. So...like I said you are making me hopeful they will arrive soon so we can get their tickets for the train.

Me too, YES please! Sailing on the Pearl May 7th! Can't wait!

You wouldn't happen to have the Seal groups dailies would you? That's the age of my GS that is going to Alaska with us in May. *fingers crossed"*

Hummm, I was planning on decorating our door so my grandson can find it easily. He tends to get there FIRST and I don't want him trying to get into someone else's cabin. We did this on our last cruise on Carnival and it stayed the whole 7 day cruise! :D We even cleaned the door better than we found it when we removed it. It was our first cruise and it was fun. We had a fish theme on the door with blowup fish...I kind of thought they might disappear, but they never did. We are heading to Alaska this time...I think we will still try it...if it gets removed...oh well. *fingers crossed*

Thanks for the replies on the Shirley Temple's. I guess we will just have to cross our fingers. :p

Does anyone know if Shirley Temples, or PINKS as my grandson called them, would be included with the kids soda package? My little guy LOVED those on his last cruise (Carnival...where it WAS included)???
Thanks,

What is the regular price of a fountain soda. (For a child...if it matters) Just trying to decide if I should buy the unlimited for him or not.
Thanks in Advance

Do you know where they hide it the other 70% of the time?
Mt. McKinley, or Denali is commonly hidden behind LOTS of clouds.

My Grandson and I parasailing in Cabo....I believe he liked it! LOL

This is our first cruise and we are taking our 5 year old Grandson and I want him to be able to find the room easily. He tends to run ahead of us slower moving folks. LOL "I'll beat you Grandma!" is a usual statement. This way he won't be trying to get into someone elses room. :o We are all so excited for our upcoming cruise.

This is the funniest thread ever! I have been laughing out loud through the whole thing. I'm a sneetch without a star.... :o I'm feeling left out, but I did book through a TA (I didn't know any better...this is our first ever cruise.) But then I HAVE purchase fun ship dollars through Bon Voyage for OBC...but no billing tab to be found anywhere...but I can see my OBC. So I don't know if or how this helps the discussion but I thought I would add it.
LOL visit from three guys bearing gifts... LOL priceless!
Wheelchair Assistance to board at San Pedro Pier
in West Coast Departures

Do they have wheelchair assistance to board. My husband can get around, but that walk onto the ship is just too much. We've been to other ports where there is wheelchair assistant porters to help with embarkation. Does the NCL cruise port in Los Angeles have this service or do we need to provide our own wheelchair? He doesn't need it for everything, just for long standing and walking.
I did try searching but it didn't seem to filter anything out.
Thank you,
Diana
