Shops for shot glasses, sugar skulls, and Coronas are just about 100 yards from where the ship actually ties up.

What car services are there that provide service from Galveston hotels to the Cruise Terminals not including Lyft/Uber?

It looks like the eclipse passes right over our house so we'll be good as long as the weather is clear.
Same here...so I'll be cruising the streets of south-central Texas on that day.🙂

It is what is missing—priority line at Guest Services. If FTTF gets it so should Suite guests.

Our Carnival “Cheers” package allowed us to purchase a bottle to take to the room. The 25% discount brought the price per glass well below the “bar” price. For spirits we need to take the 5 minute walk to the bar.

Our Carnival check-in and boarding instructions for suites say that we should look for the priority line, Does include the line for security or does it begin after security? TIA!

I took the suggestion of sending a message to John Heald and I received this gracious message back six hours later:
Good morning, thank you so much for writing and I hope you’re looking forward to having a fabulous time. I will certainly see what I can do to help you. Wishing you the best of times.
Thanks to everyone!

Thanks all. I have had both the “private” and the “inches apart” 2-tops on HAL and I just wanted to confirm the drill. We have suite boarding so we are dropping our bags and head straight to the maitre d. Wish us luck!

We will be on the Dream on the 25th. We have early dining but we would like a table for two. This is our first time with early dining on Carnival. How do we go about reserving a two-top? I’m assuming we would need to visit the maître d' stand when we board, Looking for guidance, TIA!

This subject has been clear as mud since the restart.
Hence the question 🤔

I have seen earlier topics talking about this but the information is confusing so forgive for asking again...We will be on the Dream (out of Galveston) on March 25. We are in a suite...should we expect it to be ready when we board? We have a arrival appointment between 10:00-10:30 and are in boarding group A02.

We will be on the Dream on March 25th in a Grand Suite. Can anyone tell me the number of electrical outlets and USBs in the suite and their locations? TIA!

I thinking I might want some Lobster when we are on the Dream later this month. What venue do you recommend?

It's been awhile but I did all my past Alaska cruising in Neptune's and they used to provide FREE laundry and dry cleaning. Sent it out and back in 24 hours. Cut packing by half. As others said--don't worry about formal ware. Also, take advantage of the Neptune lounge--the team in there can and will do anything the guests services desk can do. Also with booking shore excursions, etc.
Be sure to jump on the HAL board. Folks there can answer ALL your questions.

So is it $5 on top of the Wi-Fi fee if you buy a package?

What terminal is normally used for the Carnival Dream? We will be on her on the 25th. TIA!

Does the Dream have Cucina del Capitano?

We're arriving Thursday afternoon for a Saturday cruise (driving to Galveston). What are the Pleasure Pier plusses? Minuses? Is it worth it? Same thing for Moody Gardens. TIA!

We will be on the Carnival Dream in March. Will porters be available to help with luggage at check-in? TIA.

We will be in a suite for our 25 March Carnival Dream cruise. This will be our first time sailing out of Galveston. Are their any special check-in procedures, lines, locations, etc. that we to know about. I know that our luggage with be marked Priority. TIA!

Wife and I are not much for the beach. Do a lot of folks stay on board?

We will be on the 25 March 8 night Eastern Caribbean cruise on the Dream. Which nights usually are the Elegant nights on-board?
