That's why pre-paid tipping is great. If you don't pre-pay then it will be added to your bill. Then the money goes into the pool for distribution. Gone are te days when everyone hands out envelopes on the last night.
Yes we always Prepay but we also always tip extra at the end of our cruise for our Waiter, Assistant Waiter, Room Stewart and anyone else that made our Cruise Extra Special. I don’t know if people tip nightly if they move to different Dinning rooms.
Thanks -
It looks like the Apex has several different Main Restaurants ( Not the Speciality Restaurants). If you do the Open Dinning Time and make reservations at different one each night do you have a different waiter staff. Can you book the same Restaurant for the whole cruise and get the same waiter. If you move Restaurants, how do you tip. Not sure I am looking at this right. We have done several other Celebrity Cruises and this was not an option. Thanks for any help with this.

Does anyone have any suggestions for Safe place to Park for 9 nights with shuttle service to Port Canaveral? We have not parked off site near Port Canaveral and hopefully will be sailing out of there soon. Any suggestions??? Thank you

Has anyone heard anything about any Transatlantic Cruises for Fall of 2021. I only see one at the end of November. Are they not planning on having any others this year?

Based on this statement...
‘The cruise ship operator must not sail or offer to sail on an itinerary longer than 7 days. CDC may shorten or lengthen the number of days permitted to sail based on public health considerations and as set forth in technical instructions or orders.’
What would you think on a B2B each cruise 7 days.
We are Booked on the Edge, two separate reservation numbers B2B.
I know everyone has questions and most likely don’t have answers but I just had to ask. 4 cruises cancelled in 2020 and 4 more booked in 2021.
Also would Transatlantic Cruises coming back to the US be under the CDC regulations for no cruises over 7 days.
Thanks -

I don't know your definition of "reasonable" price - rentals in AMS are pricey, IMHO.
My nephew stayed on a lovely houseboat on the Prinsengracht canal (with views of Westerkerk). At the time, they paid $300 per night & enjoyed their stay. It is still available on airbnb.

Thank you.....I will check it out.

We are looking for someplace near the train station/cruise port to rent. Has anyone ever rented a Boathouse in Amsterdam. We are looking for something different......4 nights, great location, reasonable price and clean of course. Thank you,

On my three cruises in the last year. Door decorations were not permitted. I suspect enforcement may vary, but be prepared either way.
Sent from my iPad using TapatalkSo many cruise lines are going to the No Decorations. Thanks for the information.

Yes, you can place a door decoration. It helps identify which door is yours. Over the years, we've seen many of them that celebrate a holiday, birthday, anniversary, or cruising in general. Go for it, and have a lovely cruise.
Thank you.....

It has been years since we have cruised on Holland. We are super excited to be cruising on a Transatlantic Cruise on Holland this Oct. Does Holland allow Door Decorations? Nothing Crazy just a banner held up with magnets. Thanks

We are looking for a nice clean hotel near the Port Area. We are planning on spending a few days exploring Venice again but this trip would like to be on the side near the port. Last time we stayed near the train station which worked well because we were taking the train to Rome. This time cruising out of Venice.
Thanks

What type of things do they have to drink for free on the Liberty?

I am looking at booking the East TA for Oct. 2017. I looked at the roll calls and there are only 7 people on it so far. Has anyone been on the Westerdam for a TA? Do they have lots of on board activities? We have been on several TA but all on Celebrity. Is the Westerdam showing her age? My husband love Holland and I would like to book this for his 65th birthday. Thanks for any help with this.

Do they have Zumba on the Reflection? The last time we were on the Reflection for the TA in Oct. of 2014 when we got on they said there would be a charge for Zumba....but after one day it was offered and free. We are going again this Oct. and I am trying to decide whether to pack my Zumba shoes or not. Thanks
-
Does anyone know if they have Zumba on the Reflection? If yes.... Is there a charge for it? Any other free fitness classes? Thanks
-
No. They are salt water pumped in from the ocean. The hot tubs also aren't really hot - more like warm tubs.
Thanks.....not what I was hoping for!!

We will be on the Glory (Western Caribbean) very soon.......are the pools heated? We were on another cruise line last Feb. and the pools were freezing.

Adults can absolutely order from the kids' menu. I've done so myself.
The banana splits are delicious!!!
Check out the menu here:
That is perfect. Thank you

Can adults order from the kids menu on the Glory? Does anyone have any copies of the kids menus? I am a super picky eater and looking at some of the things on the American Table Menu I might have a few days that I can't find something. My husband likes to eat anything and also enjoys eating in the MDR so I was thinking maybe the kids menu might have something for me.

Does not sound great....we are not big Carnival Cruisers and this is not sounding great. Oh well....guess we will see. Thanks everyone for the comments.

Does anyone know if the Glory (7 day Westers) has an special theme nights or deck parties or BBQ on the Pool deck durning their cruises? We have not been on Carnival for awhile now and I can't remember if they do those type of nights.
Self Laundry in Civitavecchia
in Italy Ports
Posted
We will be taking a Cruise out of Civitavecchia this fall and would like to do some laundry before we board. Before COVID, we used a small Laundromat that we past the McDonalds then we turned right and it was down a small street near the Subway Sandwich Shop. I have been searching online to see if it is still there and open, but having no luck. All the posts I find are from 2020 or before. We will be traveling in Italy for a week or so before the cruise. Thank you for any help with this.
