Noticed that Celebrity have introduced a NEW dining package which offers a Specialty Lunch on every Sea Days.
Can anyone who has purchased this package able to confirm what specialty restaurants are open at lunch other than Sushi on Five.
-
Recent experience is that most of the specialty restaurants are only partial full due the price hikes.
Last month aboard Equinox Murano was only half full for our B2B cruises and we booked every night in murano

Correction - the safety briefing is better on Celebrity. There is NO safety briefing on Celebrity. Just a click box where people can say what they like........is that Safety ?

the crew all know so don't worry just give extra to whoever you chose to.
That's why everyone cancels their gratuities on the last evening, avoids any difficulties

$400 tip for a 10day cruise is ridiculous. No wonder so many people CANCEL them.
-
Don't bother to follow the rules which Celebrity don't enforce. Recent experience is it's a free for all and none of the Celebrity staff pay any attention to your arrival slot.

Guess you got lucky - Silhouette refused the bets on our last 4 cruises. Hope your luck continues on your next cruise.
I have read similar to what you say but never had the it refused.
Last time I did it myself, previously I enlisted the wife to place bets with me, although it was probably obvious to the Dealer. One thing I ensure is that table is always busy before I try my luck.

These are only for the table games - and on roulette you can't use them for even bets ( red/black, odds/evens etc).
Yes you can, we did just that in December and converted $300 obc into $280 cash.
Hope to do the same next month again with our $300 non-refundable obc. No questions were asked when I placed $20 on red and $20 black for many spins and was lucky no '0' or '00'

Mykonos has gorgeous beaches
Cost €50 each way to get to anywhere decent and the Med water is never warm IMO

The Silhouette has by far the better itinerary. The stand out ports for tourists are 1. Kusadasi 2. Athens 3. Istanbul 4. Rhodes 5. Santorini 6. Crete .
Mykonos, Katakolon and Valleta are very missable - all three best to stay aboard

Cruising the Med in July and surprised there was 7 ships there 😱
Not 'was', "will be", we are going in July 2024.
There are now 6 ships there, 1 dropped out but increased passengers now potentially over 17,000

......We had no crowds in Mykonos...a fun port.....Has great food, small shops & beautiful water... Easy tender service.
You were lucky.
According to their tourist board 895 cruise ships visited their tiny Island in 2023 up from 608 the year previous - they describe it as a nightmare.
We unfortunately booked a Celebrity cruise to discover that 7 cruise ships will be there the day we visit on Equinox in July (potentially over 15,000 passengers) which I would say is intolerable and not worthy of departing the ship by tender.
As I said earlier the Cruise Industry is destroying tourism and it's getting worse........

I have my doubts on Celebrity's Gelato....... it's ice cream with ice. Rubbish !
I always forget the free $15 casino chips.

How does one find out what ships and how many are at a specific port at a specific time?Far easier to use .....https://www.cruisetimetables.com

......If you don’t want crowds don’t take a cruise.
The large cruise ships are killing tourism in the Mediterranean and on some Caribbean Islands. There was always crowds BUT not to same extent as today. There are so many people it's better not to go ashore that's why cruising has lost it's appeal, to us at least.

Cruising has changed enormously since we first cruised. Over populated ports due to the emergence of the massive cruise ships has unfortunately killed cruising for us. Back to Land Holidays for us......

If there are a lot of ships docked in La Spezia the local train that passes thro the Cinque Terra villages can be packed like sardines. It was intolerable and never again........

Not a problem for me. I've never gone ashore after B2B processing. Wonder how many would?
Maybe you don't wish to go ashore but many do.
It most certainly affected us in December when we were stopped going ashore at 11.00am. In previous year we always were able to do a little shopping in a local mall. In the letter given to all B2B passengers there was no mention of this change in policy.
-
Recent B2B cruises returning to Port Everglades you could only leave the ship prior to 9am. After this time you were a prisoner aboard and were not allowed to disembark. Celebrity security personnel blamed the Immigration authority for this change........be warned.

I phoned Captain's Club UK number, I believe it was answered by Celebrity US (Accent give away).
Both wife and I were 3 points away from Elite Plus and there was no PUP points awarded to either of us, so asked why. The lady said she'd email "Loyalty" and get them to look into it, within a couple of hours my Celebrity App said Elite Plus (Still 747pts). Later received an email saying points will be corrected at the next run (15th Feb).

Thanks - I found Points History.
It shows past Power up Points but nothing showing for the December Webinar.

Unlimited Specialty Dining Package
in Celebrity Cruises
Posted
Equinox. I am fully aware that prior to the introduction of this NEW Package that Murano and Tuscan were open for 1 day during a 10 day cruise. Are Murano or Tuscan now open for every sea day
