We are looking for a recommendation for a transfer company or taxi driver to take 4 of us from Charles de Gaulle airport in Paris to our hotel in Paris. Can anyone make a recommendation?
Thx

Can anyone recommend a tour company to do a one day bus tour around Oahu. Any recommendations for a tour would also be gratefully appreciated.

We are travelling onboard the Celestyal Crystal at the end of February and have a LONG first port in Egypt (12 hour excursion to Cairo) and then a LONG next port (10 hour excursion to Bethlehem and Jerusalem) in Israel. Our next port is Limassol, Cyprus from 11am to 6pm and because of the 2 intense days before this we decided to just get off the ship, have lunch and walk around the city. Any suggestions of places to eat or things to do for the day in Limassol?

Thanks!
Were you on a Celestyal cruise to the Greek Island or one to Egypt, Israel, Cyprus, Turkey (as we are)?

We are sailing on the Celestyal Crystal to Egypt, Israel, Cyprus and Turkey on Feb 29/20 returning to Athens on March 7/20 at 9am. Does anyone have experience with how quickly one can debark the ship in Athens (would also have to clear customs) as we are thinking about doing a shore excursion to Corinth with a drop off at the airport.

My wife and I are sailing on the Nieuw Amsterdam from Vancouver to Alaska and back to Vancouver soon. The ship arrives Vancouver at 0700 and we are planning on doing walk off with our luggage. Anyone been on the Nieuw Amsterdam recently who can tell us approximately when you were off the ship and through Canada customs to get an idea when to book our return flight to Toronto.

We are sailing on the Royal Princess on Feb 2 and wondering if there is anywhere to check which movies might be showing for MUTS?

I forgot to mention the Park Royal May not be fancy but it was clean and the breakfast although also not fancy was fine and did the trick!

We stayed at the Park Royal in downtown BA. It was about a 10-15 minute taxi ride from AEP and not that expensive a ride. The hotel is not fancy and if I recall cost something like US$80 per night including breakfast. It is within walking distance to some restaurants. The hotel is just off Ave. 9 de Julio and close to the promenade Ave. Florida. We did a lot of walking including about a 30 minute walk to pick up a free walking tour of BA. Check the location on a map.

We are sailing on the Royal Princess from Port Everglades on Feb 2 to South America including a stop in Fortaleza Brazil on Feb 12.
Last week on the news we saw that the new Brazilian government had sent in troops to the area because of organized crime violence going on there - a lot of vehicles being burned and attacks on shops and banks. A taxi driver was quoted that they are scared as they don’t know what will happened next. If you do an internet search you will find a lot of not so nice pictures.
Our agent checked with Princess who says no changes at present - we assume wait and see based on the situation.
Anyone else on a cruise stopping in Fortaleza (I know there aren’t that many cruises going to Fortaleza) who has heard anything about Fortaleza and maybe substituting another port? - Oceania Sirena for example is going to Fortaleza on February 5.

We have booked EZAir for our cruise departing Feb 2.
Do we receive an email or similiar notification once the actual airline tickets are issued (I assume 45 days before departure?) with ticket numbers, etc from Princess?

We will be on Royal in February and with the change of MDR dinner times to earlier just wondering what the show times are....
-
In February this year we took a taxi from our hotel in downtown Buenos Aires (which is about a 10-15 minute ride to AEP) to EZE around 3:30ish in the afternoon. The traffic downtown and along the highway was slow with a lot of stop and go but we made in about an hour.
We had to wait for check in to open and went through Security around 5:30 to 6pm and there was was no problem. Many of the flights to the US leave at 9pm and later so could get busier likely closer to those times.

We are sailing on the Silver Cloud Expedition in about a week around Newfoundland and Quebec.
Just wondering if the dress code for dinner would be similiar to when we were on the Silver Explorer Expedition (no formal wear e.g. slacks and dress/golf shirt for men).

Just wondering if the dress code for dinner would be similiar to when we did the Silver Explorer Expedition in Antarctica (formal wear not required e.g. slacks and dress shirts acceptable for men).

We are travelling on the Royal Princess in February 2019 and have a day stop in each of Salvador and Fortaleza Brazil.
Any suggestions what to do there?
Would one feel safe walking around these cities?

We are considering a ship excursion Rio tour by “Do Brazil Right” which is similar to the excursion offered by the cruise line but considerably less cost per person.
Has anyone any experience with using this company?

Go Ahead tours is a part of EF Educational Tours (student tours). Go Ahead focuses on tours for adults. We used them in South Africa and they are top notch - the recommendations are definitely to be believed!

Four of us are arriving in BA on Feb 21/19 on the Royal Princess and flying home that night. We are looking for an English speaking guide who can give us a tour of BA (including our luggage) and then a transfer to Ezeiza airport in the late afternoon/evening for our flight home. Any recommendations are appreciated!

Four of are arriving in Rio de Janeiro on Feb 17/19 (Sunday) on the Royal Princess and are looking for a recommendation for a taxi that could give us a day tour in English of the city including Sugar Loaf and Christ the Redeemer statue. Any suggestions are much appreciated!

Thanks - I posted it on Silversea.

Can anyone who had sailed on Silversea to Antarctica give us some insight if there is an expectation for how to dress for meals, in particular for dinner. I have the impression that more casual attire is acceptable but can’t seem to find it specified anywhere. Are jeans in good shape acceptable or is smart casual expected?

We are arriving in Cozumel at Punta Langosta on Feb 1 on the Eurodam.
I inquired with Cozumel Cruise Excursions about an island tour but apparently if we are arriving at Punta Langosta we have to take a taxi to their central departure point. I would prefer to walk off the ship and board the tour (which I can do with a ship tour but at twice the price).
Has anyone any experience with:
- disembarking at Punta Langosta and buying a tour on the spot
- booking a tour where you can be picked up at Punta Langosta on arrival
Thx.
Buying shore excursions on arrival in these ports in Norway?
in Northern Europe & Baltic Sea
Posted
We are booked on a HAL cruise on Aug 24 from Amsterdam to Norway and Scotland. In Norway we are going to Alesund, Trondheim, Honningsvad, Tromso and Leknes.
is it advisable to buy shore excursions on arrival on shore (I had seen a video suggesting this was cheaper and adviseable in Norway although not sure for the ports we are visiting).
We were hoping to see fjords (I know there are no deep fjords for our itinerary) and also north cape in Honningsvad. Any recommendations or experiences with buying onshore?
Thx
