Last week, while on the Jewel of the Seas, we took an excursion to Stingray City In Georgetown. Our excursion boat was 75% German tourists (an Aida boat was docked at the same time).
Just prior to reaching the site, we noticed MANY people changing into their swimsuits right out in the open, in full view of everybody (including many kids - lots of them American or Canadian, who are not used to full nudity in public like that!)
But the best (worst?) part of it was after the excursion on the way back, in which several Germans stripped down again to change back into dry clothing.
Seeing a fully naked (and hairy) 70-ish German man drying his, uh, berries, right in the middle of the boat was a site neither of us will soon forget. Talk about looking in the wrong direction at the wrong time!
Also the 30-ish German body builder guy in a Speedo who paraded around the boat posing (arms crossed, or the best - hands at hips) all while looking around making sure people were watching him, was pretty entertaining. My girlfriend stopped a few feet behind him while on the way back from the bar and stood there, hands on hips, mimicking him. I almost spit out my drink! Wish I had the camera on for that...
